Totally. When I start to get attatched to the characters in some way, weither it is a main or otherwise, I just feel like I have something worth fighting for and have to try harder while in play. You literally become a hero in some way. xD

I'm still trying to get the damn Shinra Safe but once I get it and clobber some butt, I'm switching to FFX. I've been wanting to play it for a while now but just haven't had the chance. My sister and mother always hog the TV. :gonk:

Whoa... Didn't mean to reminisce, folks. Anyway... Ten years later, the Jecht Memorial Cup tournament is today! The two teams that have won through to the finals are...of course, the Abes from A-East, and the Duggles from C-South.
I know there's a lot of people out there today to see the star of the Abes! In just one year, he's become the team's number one player! He's Jecht's blood, and the new hope of blitzball! What kind of super play will he show us today? Will we see his father's legendary shot? I don't think I'm the only one excited here, folks!"

I love that part and always stand around till it's finished!

When he runs across the walkway and you have the narrator tell the tale about Jecht, you feel sympahy for Tidus, then the scared and clusure when the stadium gets a attacked and the confort you feel for Tidus when Auron helps him fight.

I freeking love that part.. across the walkway and the narrator is actually Jecht himself wasnt he? Man that part is so freeking awesome..

Think about it..it was the first FF title with VA's and bam you have Jecht with his awesome voice talking in that part ... epic moment for me..

I also freeking loved the whole first half of the game when Tidus was the narrator..

THIS IS MY STORY>.. beautiful.
 
Still having trouble with the Shinra Safe?? It is a difficult boss. I made the mistake of letting my friend borrow my FFX, and then he went to college, I haven't seen it since :sad2:


The story was played very well in this game. I felt very sorry for Tidus once he found out his dad was Sin..

anyway on topic now I enjoyed the story just fine but I have a question why is it that so many American Cosplayers do FFX? I mean theres like 50,000+ people who cosplay as FFX characters?

anyone got any clues?

yh i know... i fell really bad for tidus when the person is talking about jecht.... i felt nervous with tidus as well when he was trying to force himself to talk to yuna for the first time :D

and btw names Steve.. as much as being called yuna rules i'm not a girl XD

Personally, I put it down to emotion again.
If something can touch someone and make them understand
from a different point of view, it can have a massive effect on people.
I can't really say that I see many FFX cosplayers here in Scotland,
but then again - cosplaying is not a popular passtime here either.
Which uber sucks. So hard to find someone to come with you. xD

Ohyeah Definatly.
I felt like I was engaging with the charecters a lot, its like you want to go and act the part for them xD

Exactly :griin: Its the same for me. its actually Jecht's voice but I never knew he was talking in someone else's perspective.

Wait that was Jecht? I didn't realize it until now. :lmao:

Wow, that makes it a lot more gripping doesn't it.
I thought it was someone else like....saying it themselves from experience or something.

That's it, i'm going on my Ps2 and listen to it again xD
 
Okay, if everyone here had to pick a charecter they would feel that the connected with most in the game who would it be and why?

Id have to say Yuna, because I feel like her journey is more arduous than any, she emotionally goes through an emotional journey too about knowing her fate after defeating Sin, and her feelings for Tidus, I think It's amazing.
 
Yours truly is gonna join this club. I love this game. The characters.The graphics the cutscenes everything! I adored the TxY romance story. And Yuna/Tidus/Seymour Tie for my favourite character!
 
I'd say Auron. He's a loyal friend and a very loyal guardian. He is one of the characters I kind of felt sorry for, after seeing a few of his flashbacks.

and as for my favorite Character I loved Rikku because shes a hyper,loving character thats like a happy pill when the story gets too sad
 
I felt more connected to Tidus due to having so much in common with him. Our new found loves, the butterflies of coming forth, the hatred for our fathers and appearing like a goof when in reality as a person, there is a much more serious side.

And yeah, Auron's charecter really does shine imo too, i think all of them you kinda can connect to. xD
 
I personally Connected most with Yuna. (even though I have never played FFX) Her story on how she has to risk her life many times to get Aeons. Then at the very end Scarifice herself and someone she loved. It inspired me to uh have some of her courage.

But Maybe im biased. Yuna IS my favourite character.

Same here Connor...... i played the game and trust me... i linked to yuna the most :D just the way she takes life,,, it's amazing :D
 
Tidus.

He is goofy but can be serious when needed and is never afraid when it comes to protecting his loved ones..

He is there when you need him the most.

He has a negative relationship with his father.

These aspects are in my real life as well..I relate so much to Tidus irl except for the blonde hair.
