First Final Fantasy game?

Final Fantasy II was actually the first FF game I ever played. And I still haven't finished it yet.... Where's my DS...? FFVIII was the second, and it's still my overall favorite.
 
My first was 10 and then I moved to VII and now Im on 3 lol.... 3 is nothing compared to those two.
 
The first Final Fantasy game I played, must've been Final Fantasy VII around the turn of the century. I got stuck around halfway and threw it away. A few years later I bought Final Fantasy VIII and that was the first Final Fantasy I actually finished.

On a sidenote, I only finished Final Fantasy VII last year!
 
My first final fantasy game was 7. Practically raised myself on it, i think i was about 9 when i started playing, took me forever because i ran away from almost every battle lol. Latest FF i've played was only X-2 though. Hard for me to get any more recent ones because I live in Germany & such.
 
:] Definitely FFVII and it's still my favorite to this day. I grew up watching my brother play it first though.
 
FFX was my first. My friend got me playing it, and eventually the other games in the series. The newest one I have played is XII, I think :hmm:
 
My first Final Fantasy game I ever played was "Final Fantasy" in the Dawn of Souls pack.

The latest... I'm not entirely sure... Don't remember when exactly they came out, but I'd say Final Fantasy IV or Final Fantasy Tactics A2: GotR.
 
My first one I played was VIII :ryan: First one I got for my birthday :monster:
I wish played the older ones though... :hmmm: It'd be better that way so that I could play them in order. I much rather play them in order
 
IX was my first. I had an older cousin who let me borrow it and his PSOne. I played it and I was hooked. Sadly, I never got a chance to finish it because Disc 3 was scratched. It always went all black when I entered Kuja's Palace. To date, i have yet to finish IX...if I could only buy it. And if I knew of a place to buy it.

Latest FF I played was X. I played VIII and Origins before X, and I liked it. Or was it the other way around....?
 
The first FF I played was X. When I played X it was during a very interesting time of my life... a time I'll never forget. I might go into details later about it. The most recent FF I played was XII. XII has a lot of gameplay and a vast area of places. Reminds me a little bit of Rogue Galaxy with it's large places and lots of side quests.
 
The first FF I ever played was IX I think. My brother traded our N64 and games for a PSOne and a few games that included (FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX) so I'm not entirely sure which of those three I played first but since I finished IX first, I'm assuming that's the one. The last FF I played was FFVII, yesterday. But I am just replaying it so it would have to be FFXII
 
Final Fantasy VII was my first FF game, when it first came out. I was only about 8 years old, and just getting into video games - my aunt's boyfriend let me play it on his Playstation. I didn't go much on it, and stopped playing after about five minutes in favour of Oddworld. XD
 
Oh gosh, Final Fantasy X was the very first FF game that I ever played. I was Thirteen or Fourteen when I first played it, yes I was a late bloomer, thanks to my brother in law who actually mentioned something about it that made me curious enough to first rent the game, sit down and play it with him beside me, and then buying the game the day after I rented it and becoming completely addicted to the series.
 
The first I ever played was FF7. I loved it at the time...and for some reason, the thing I liked most was how I would get stuck before a lot of the bosses and have to train. How I never had up-to-date equipment and things like that. I guess being new to the whole genre was why I enjoyed FF7 so much.
My latest main FF game is 12. I played it the day it was out (in the UK) and without knowing anything about it. No review reading, no images, nout. This shows that my dislike of the overall game didn't come from being brain-washed by all the negative people, or blinded by the fact that the previous FF games were so great.
 
First FF game I ever played was VIII because I'd watched my brother play it so much before me and I was about 8 or 9 at the time. I was okay at it and then I went on to play the others after my brother had played.
The latest one I played would be X, and still haven't finished it, just because after I'd played VII, VIII & IX I decided to go back and start from IV before I went up to do X.
 
My first was IX, it was my mum's and she let me play it. I think I first played it when I was about 8 or 9? I can't really remember.
I first watched my mum play VIII when I was about 6 but I was too young to play it, and she sold it soon after, else that would have been my first.

I think the newest game I've played is Dissidia, or FFXII if we're only counting main games.
 
Mine was VI, I was like 10-12. Story and athmosphere of the game just felt so wonderful although I was so young that I didn't understand the plot very well. Unfortunately I played it on an emulator and quicksaved all the time. Later on I quicksaved at a bad moment, it was some boss and my characters weren't good enough to beat him so I got stuck. I don't remember using the normal save so that put me away from FFs for a long time.

Few years later I bought PS1 and got IX on it. That one I played through and it still feels to me that it's the first FF I have played since I wasn't able to finish VI and I didn't get very far in it. :blush:
 
My first FF game was X-2. There was a commercial on TV and I really wanted it so I asked it for my birthday. I believe I was 14. Then I realized I should buy X to understand the story so I did. Then I started to add more FF games to my collection XD
