First Final Fantasy game?

My first was XIII. im new to the series. :] i never was a fan of rpg's growing up, then just last year that FFXIII trailer caught my eye and i was sold.
 
Started on FF II for the SNES. It was also one of the first games i had beaten. I haven't played XIII, but i did play a bit of XII. As much as I adore these games, my love pretty much stops at IX.
 
First I started FF XII and liked it, but I had to return it after a week (it was a rental)

Then eventually I got FF I (20th Anniversary Edition) for my PSP. I played through it and I loved it. Next I had to play FF II. Then I bought FF VII for PSP through the store and it never worked. So I bought a physical copy for me and my brother. And from there on, I've played most of them!
 
My frst Final Fantasy game waaas funnily enough, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, an indirect spinoff of FFTactics. After that I tried torrenting FFVII after years of hearing about it, tried playing it, and my old XP system just spat it out like bad medicine. I tried again, same story. I'm still going to try torrenting it again since those first 2 hours or so of the game was super fun.

Let's see, then I truly started playing FFXII and FFVI, loved theeeem. And now I'm on FFIV, FFV, and FFI and II, and then I'll move on to the DS port of III, hopefully.
 
The first FF I've played was IX, and that just drew me into the Final Fantasy series. It's my favorite by far. The most recent was FFXIII, big disappointment for me. Right now I'm playing FFVII.

My first FF game has had to be FF7 and is the cause which instigated my obsession with the series

Well my first Final Fantasy game a little over 8 years ago was actually Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1. It was a complete fluke that I even played it, but I absolutely loved the game even though it wasn't a main series FF game. It introduced me the FF series, RPGs in general, plus the idea of SRPGs specifically.

I wonder if because my first FF game was a SRPG that I don't get so pissy like most other people about how the series has been changing over time :hmmm:
 
My First one was Final Fantasy VII...Awesome Game..Best Game Ever! never mind of the series for me...the only rival being SWOS on the Amiga...
 
Aw man, I was 6 years old watching my dad play through Final Fantasy 7. That was my first, and still favorite to this day!
 
FF6 popped my cherry.

FF 10 is the latest one I've played. I have played FF11 but I don't count that as an actuall FF installment as it's an MMORPG.
 
My first Final Fantasy was FF4 on my SNES...lulz. Ohh that game was pretty epic for its day. My most current FF is 13. I've played a bunch in between them though, some of the Crystal Chronicles, Some (whichever have been released) on my DSI, the original on my cell, and god-willing, Versus on my ps3.
 
my first ff game was ffvii on ps1 the christmas after its release. that's probably why its my favorite and nothing else compares. i'm currently replaying it, although i've yet to 100% beat 13
 
The first I saw was FFIX,that my sister was playing.I found it interesting and wanted to play it but she would not let me.
Anyway after years the one that I actually played myself was FFX-2(what a start...haha)
I think I finished it though a lot later on.The first FF I finished was of course FFVII.
Awesome game,need I say more?
