What were your first impressions when you met your fellow FFFers?
Did you think they were cool right off the bat, or just plain weird? :P
Like me.

I seriously knew you all were cool in the first place, so no worries there. ;)

If you can't talk about the forum members in general, talk about what your first impressions were of the first person you actually got to know. :cool:
Or something like that.
 
First impressions?
Hmm....I guess if I had a list of people I could break them all down...XD

My first impression of Warbourne is my stepfather because he looks just like the guy in your avatar. XD

My first impression of you Nephany, which is still what it is today, awesome with a tiny tinge of weirdness --- which is a good thing. :P
 
My first impression of Meiks was that he was a poser...but it's pretty easy to read him now that I know him better.

My first impression of Guv'na was that he was an attention whore...and I was right.

My first impression of Fields was that he was another attention whore, but I later found out that he hates Guv, and I realize that Fields is not an attention whore, but rather someone of my liking. =]

My first impression of Shenorai was YEARS ago, and I don't even remember it....0.o

My first impression of DB was that he was looking for a bunch of hot chicks to run his site. I'm still debating that...but the fact that we also have a bunch of hot guys running the site makes me ponder further...lol.

My first impression of Hyoutan was that he was overly serious and that I wouldn't have anything to say to him. But we actually talk quite a bit in the chat room nowadays, and he's quite goofy sometimes. ^__^

My first impression of Prez was that he thought I was incompetant...however...our fondness for Rick Astley leads me to believe that we've grown quite fond of each other's presense. XD
 
Hmm, the people that really stood out for me back then was Lady Aerith, AG, Rhea/Nephany, and Rydia.

LA, Rydia and AG would always post in the Anti-Tifa thread and I would lurk around just to see what they talk about...and let me tell ya', I have never seen such hatred towards a character before. xD I didn't think that people would actually take the time to rant about a character for that long. Heh, hilarious stuff though.

Mark...um, I thought he was a girl at first (no surprise there, for a lot always seem to think so at first xD) but I figured things out when I finally took the time to look at his gender symbol on the left. Rhea was posting away as usual and was all over the place. I thought she was fun and kept the forums up and running 80 mph. xD Rydia...I always seemed to confuse her with Leki...don't know why.

That's all for now. Just wanted to get this started.
 
My first impression of Mitsuki is that she was weird. o_O
Kidding, I thought she was really nice, giving me my first usernote and PM and whatnot. :)
 
Hmm this ought to be interesting so, I hope you don't me mind be honest folks.

First I'd like to point out my impression on the forums in general. In 2006 I used this site strictly as a FAQ for FFXII. I would get on here and banter about the great crystal and help people out where I could. I also asked for help on certain marks in return. I didn't see much use for me being in the SB. As a year went by I saw more and more of a popularity thing spur from FFF, so I almost abandoned the site, because I knew what becomes of it.. drama, and god knows I stay far from drama as I can. Well guess what I got a message from Darkblade, and then Mitsuki and I believe Contra Fates? That said they wanted more help in certain threads.. so I came back and found the Gaea section. Real life issues, handled by real life folks, the good stuff. Most folks on these forums I kept distant, but I've gotten to know plenty of you folks throughout the years and made this place my home.

Let's do round robin with it, alphabetical:

1) Bustamo - I thought he was a serious fellow. I'm serious I did, I thought he was stern and always putting people in their place. Little did I know he would turn out to be a prankster and a jokester, and one day make threads about walking into a strip club while drunk. Gotta love it.

2) Mitsuki - I thought she was a bit reserved at first, not in a bad way, but I thought she was more on the shyer end. Of course I was intimidated of her mod (now admin) presence, but dang was I ever wrong. She's one of the most down to earth peeps on this forum. Although her voice is still .. very quiet! =P.

3) Darkblade - I thought he was really nice to be perfectly honest. Little did I know, that I figured out he was not so.. and hince the transferal of ownership and all that.

4) Blakstang98 - Haha bud I thought you were a serious thinker mostly from just your replies in Sleeping forest. Now all I know is you are just a perverted old man! I kid I kid =). Nah man you are one of the most friendly people on this forum, I give you praise all the dang time. (man crush yes?)

5) Kandy Sugar - At first I saw her as a pretty girl making a name for herself on the forums. After seeing many of her art pieces and her try at survivor I was like heck, she's just trying to fit in here too, just like me. Me I'm quick to judge the beautiful looking crowd, I think it's genetic... or a dude thing, but honestly.. she's one of the most down to earth folks I've seen on here. Although mysterious at times, her opinion is highly valued by me.

6) SapphireStar - You sure have had your hands full in the past with relations and stuff, but let me say you are an excellent poster by far and very kind hearted to those who need a female's perspective. I think most people can say your opinions are very valued here at FFF =). Although your obession of Matt Bellamy amuses me.. I don't hold it against you! At first I didn't know much.. but these days.. you are definitely a regular in my mind.

All the other folks, ya'll have been down right awesome to me, and I don't think my opinion has changed much of ya'll. Since your impression has stayed pretty much down the straight and narrow, but since this thread is "new" in my head, I might follow up a bit later... but here's to the first post since 2007!

Well, my first impression of the FFFers here, was that everyone was pretty cool and level headed. I loved how the Admin/Mods helped me out and don't hate me for something I like. It's comforting to know I can rely on them as good leaders.

So I'd say my first impression of everyone here is really good. :3
 
MLFY:Hes the one that gave me interest about the site,i was curious about it sometimes(have to admit that),sometimes i would forget that i want to join,but once i joined with remembering that i wanted to and i did,thanks to MLFY aka my bro.this site kicks ass.

Bustamo:Not to forget,he was involved b4 i was in the site,i thought he was gonna be strict with me but he turned out to be so nice,he even told me not to worry with no problem to join this site.Hes proud of his position in this site,thats good.He told me some history about the site at first,someone by the name "Aztec Triogal" has created chaos in the past survivor.

Calibabe:we seem to know each other a little in bleach asylum forums,now were getting to know each other better in this site.

Kira:She has nice singing vidoes on youtube,i knew this b4 i joined,keep it up kira/colours.

Mandi:shes mean to you if your mean to her and shes nice to you if your nice to her,right mandi?your one of the 1st persons i knew here ^_^

Vikki:She seems to be wise when i first saw her but shes actually nice if you get to know her more and more.

DarkSquall:I viewed this guy as an equal to me or something when i first seen him,I dont know him though.

Well when I first came here I wasn't sure how I'd go with a new forum after not going on forums for about three years.

I didn't really intend to make friends or chat with anyone. But my first impressions of everyone was definitely a good one which is why I stayed on with the forums.

I was mainly just wanting to talk with people on the forums about the games I loved. No one at home likes any of the games I do, so I decided to give forums another shot.

After being here a year I've started to become close friends with a few and even though I didn't intend for things to go that way, it wasn't to say that I was to rule it out all together.

The majority of the people here are great and I respect a lot of them even if I don't speak with them or have anything to do with them much.

It'd be nice to get to know more people now that I'm more comfortable with the site. =)
 
l tend to not really care what other people think of me......but l have been here for few years now, made some enemies ,probably thought of as a douchebag by some people
l wrote some screwy shit back then and it took me sum time to get the gist of the place.

my FFF experience to this point has been great sharing info and POV with this mob of like minded people is just one of my few places l rate worth hanging out on(the other being bustylesbians.com lol).

l cant wait for the day l get 4000 posts.....then l can fell like l've made it...........

FF is not something l felt i could share with others but here @ FFF i can contibute to something that as reached millions of people worldwide.
