Forgotten the meaning of Christmass?

I was raised to believe that Christmas true meaning was to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, being born and raised in a Christian background, only later in my life would I learn this is not the case. It also seems this isn't the only Holiday that the Christians stole from the Pagans. They took Easter away from them too didn't they?

Santa and Reindeer are all marketing ploys, just like Valentines Day.

I can't say I've ever really given a shit about Christianity or Santa Claus and Reindeer, but Christmas Dinner is always good. Sometimes, it's even nice to see your family; even for someone as defensive of forming close relationships as myself.
