Fourth of July

On the most important day of the year, I'll be drinking more than the bar has to offer :sad3:. I'll also probably be blowing some stuff up, due to fireworks are fun to play with. Though July 4th is not the most important to me, it's Halloween.

Ahh, yeah! I love Halloween best too :jess:

But me and my family are just gonna grill and go see the fireworks down at our lake and also set off our own. The fireworks near our lake... they're not drop-your-jaw-amazing but they're good enough to get ya patriotic, for sure. Plus, they always play the best American country-ish music. Not to mention, the reflections painted on the water really makes it look really pretty and awesome.

Happy 4th of July, guys.

So basically Independence day is to Americans and the Royal Wedding was to us Brits? A holiday that no one could give a toss about? But lets get merry and drunk anyway?
Meh fair enough I guess...

Yes. Sort of. Not really.

As for July fourth, I will be heading into town to retrieve my phone that I left in a club a few nights ago. I do not expect to see fireworks =/

It's my fish's birthday on the 4th of July, so I'll probably wish him happy birthday. I bought him a card which I'll place by his tank for a few days. He'll be two years old tomorrow and he's grown quite a bit in the last year. He looks excited. :O

Since I'm British, I do not do the American thing this day.

This made me rofl :wacky: Grandpa fish is happy!

As for me, we may be grilling but I don't see me going to see the fireworks this year. :sad3: I'm simply not up for it here, as the fireworks in this city are unimpressive.

Ive just remembered today is the aniversary of Pinkys death :sad3:

Confused.com :gasp:

There is quite a bit of the ol' alcohol. But it's something that a lot of Americans do find important and do celebrate. It's nothing like a Royal Wedding because it's not like.... one event that everybody watches.

However, Independence Day was yesterday. The Second. Not the Fourth. :jtc:

Everything we thought we knew is a lie then? :sad3:
