With in the past year or two, Friday has been my night to be home and do nothing after a long work/school week. I typically do not have the desire to go out on Fridays. Saturdays are another story. And I feel old admitting that XD

Like tonight, I am sore, tired and I have a headache. I could probably go to bed for the night right now (at 8pm yikes!) and sleep for the rest of the night. But I'm too stubborn to do so XD.

That is not to say that I will not go out on some Friday nights.

What do you typically do on Fridays? Is it a party night or a night to be home?

For the last few years Friday/Saturday nights have just been regular days for me. I have never been much of a party person so I usually don't do much. If I spend time with my friends or my brother it is on whatever day we're all free on. So Friday night is normally a night I don't do anything.

More recently, Friday nights have been party nights. More so than Saturday nights, even. Though this week, I'm not sure I'm doing anything tonight, but there's a big party tomorrow night that I'm going to. I've never really been much of a party person before this semester. :hmmm:

Since living out of home Friday nights have been stay at home nights.

I'm too tired to bother going out after a 45 hour work week and just end up coming home and having a nap and then getting up to have dinner.

Partying isn't really my thing anymore and it never really was my thing to start with actually. =/

I'm fine with just staying in with Steve and saving money at the same time.

I usually hang out with a bunch of friends, maybe watch a movie. But nowadays, I stay inside on Friday, just watch some tv, relax and play some video games.

Prior life at the campus, Fridays were days to relax and go out. After entering the University, Fridays took a whole different meaning. Usually I am simply dead tired, brooding, and not in the mood to go out. I just want to sit down, relax and either enjoy either of my hobbies (whether it is watching Supernatural, browsing around the internet, reading a book, the usual stuff).

Saturdays are a complete different story. Batteries have been charged up, and body is ready to rock. :awesome:

I'm the same. I don't do anything Friday nights mainly because I'm boring. I do like to go out on Saturday's, though. Not like out partying or anything, just whatever.

For me its quite random, if somethings going on then I'm usually there. Tonight I've also decided to stay in since I have to be up and out early in the morning, but yeah I suppose Friday through to Sunday is the party time.... or any day to be honest.

This year Friday has been the "Oh shit, assignment" day, so, I've spent a lot of Fridays in the library, printing off assignments, tweaking them and whatnot, so that means by Friday night, I'm totally exhausted and just want to go home and be in my comfy bed.

Saturday and Sunday are the main nights I go out now, mainly because I have no classes on Mondays, so I don't have to worry about hangovers and whatnot, although, Tuesday is also a pretty fun night to go out; especially when places have 80p drink offers on :wacky:

I used to go out a lot on Fridays but I find it is too hard after working a full week to even find the energy to go out and have fun. I prefer to just relax, play some games or watch TV, anything other than going out.

Getting all dressed up to go out is effort enough haha.

I don't mind going out on Saturday's but I have found in my old age (haha 22yrs old) That I'd much rather have friends over my house for a movie than going out and partying at a bar.

Same:)

Fridays use to mean TGIF!!!! nowadays its like.........ugh....ZZZZZZZZ.

Going out and getting drunk didnt work for me ever so I developed a ritual of going out and being th Designated driver, but now I have found a car that I like and wanna save money for and a Girlfriend who works on fridays and saturdays:sad3: id rather spend Fridays relaxing and playing/watching stuff and go out during the day on sunday.

Its not being old:lew: priorities change and getting smashed is not for everyone.

Admittedly I don't socialise much like that.

The vast majority of my Friday nights are regular nights. I haven't been to the pub I used to go to in months now. Since about October time in fact (apart from a brief visit on the weekend of my Birthday, but that was only because none of my friends were ready on time to go to bowling as organised, and the pub is next to the train station). Not entirely sure where the time has gone, as it doesn't seem as if I've been absent for such a long time that I'm dying to go back. I could happily not go for ages again.

I don't find the pub or club environment ideal for meeting people, being honest. A loud place with lots of shouty people with whom you'll not get many words of your own out to them even if they ask you questions. That's if the music is even quiet enough for you to hear people in the first place.

If you were one to like to get drunk, dance and shout "oh yeah!" as loud as possible, then I can understand. For me? I never really fit in. I used to go with my close friends, but it is them who socialise more, and I essentially follow them about as a lackey.

I'm not a socially proficient person, so I simply do not thrive in an environment like that, and I never have done. It's just one of those things.

This.

I've never been that loud of a person, ever, really. I used to go over to a friend's house for nearly the entire weekend but that got old quickly. I was starting to fall back on my work for school so I gradually started staying home on the weekends and treating them as being my time. I don't see much of a problem with that honestly, and now with my decently hectic high school schedule, I think I'm excused.

Maybe that'll change as I get older, who knows... but I've never really been interested in staying out all night. Just not my thing.

I think our Friday might be dedicated to movie night now, I'm not too sure... it could possibly be Thursday but I'm sure it's Friday. They tend to be well boring though, because we go out on Wednesday now rather than Saturday since it's cheaper and there's more people because it's student night at the club on a Wednesday. Friday is pretty much dedicated to spontaneous ideas and just munching all night.

Friday . . . until I get a car will continue to be a day or night rather for me to stay in. Honestly, I prioritize school over getting smashed and wasted and I have a boyfriend who works too damn often so it's not like I could get wasted with him on Fridays anyway. Most of my friends also work so their schedules are doubly fucked over when you add school to the equation, so honestly I don't get much of an opportunity to chill. I dislike it. Greatly? Eh, not really, I wasn't a super talkative person . . . wait, no lies, I can be bouncy and talkative when I'm chill/excited enough. It's just getting that A and shit and making sure I become a private tutor is more important to me than trying to organize little "play dates" with my friends. Thursdays and Tuesdays are my chill time with the bf and Wednesdays are for my friends at college.

Friday for this year is the most taxing day of the week for me in terms of college activity with the additional late evenings I spend for certain meetings concerning the students' newspaper and magazine. So naturally the last thing I would wish to do on a Friday evening is to leave the house or do anything else particularly taxing. I accompany my family to dinner in our usual restaurant on most Friday evenings and come back to just chill and do whatever I want, pushing everything else aside.

You'll normally find me in my room with the heater on, laptop out, the internet on, Photoshop or Youtube on and perhaps the iPod laying there next to me. A quiet, relaxing Friday night is perhaps all I need for some good R&R. Saturdays I tend to do something, be it movie night or whatever, though a lot of the time I may treat it as another Friday night or something.

On Fridays I have college off so I just get a bit more sleep in the morning or I wake up very early sometimes. Fridays for me are a time to just do whatever I want and it is mostly the internet, Xbox, Iphone or whatever. Movie night is a possibility but not always. I stay up very late usually but Ill stay up even more over Friday/Saturday night. I usually just love relaxing on the bed in my room and maybe playing a little xbox while I have the laptop next to me.

Most of my Fridays are spend at home with my Boyfriend.
I went out last week as a once in a rare occasion thing, I never go out usually.

But I think Weekends are for relaxing, especially if you work your ass off for 5 days a week. So I'm just relaxing every Friday now and not really caring if others would lik me to come out. I would rather sit at homr relaxing on a sofa.

That's my friday exactly. I don't like the people/party scene around here, and I'd say some things I would regret if I went out around here. =/

Plus, my weeks seem to take forever and all I'm good for by the weekends is crashing and catching up on homework anyways... XD fun times, my weekends are.
