Emerald WEAPON (famous optional boss from Final Fantasy VII) has been spoted in the final area of Crisis Core's gameplay, the Banora Cave (on the Mideel island). However, it is only a cameo easter egg appearance. Since Sephiroth had not yet released the WEAPONs from the Northern Crater to cleanse the world of Gaia of humanity, Emerald appears only in a frozen state. Awaiting to be called for.



 
Phew you had me worried there lol I had this horrible thought of Zack going against Emerald mano-e-mano
 
Whats he doing near Mideel when he's supposed to be having his epic nap in the North Crater along with the others? :wacky:

Look around in the main area in the final dungeon. I think the actual name of the area is Judgment of something or something of Judgment. It doesn't take too long to find, because once you go up the hill that shows you Emerald in the background, it leads nowhere.
 
I'm in the Depths of Judgement right now (the place where you see all those green crystalized piece of lifestream) and I'm not seeing it...am I missing something? Is there a particular place you have to go? If you're talking about that giant green thing on the door (Light of Doom) where Genesis comes out in the Portal of Severance, that is not Emerald WEAPON. There is no way it even could be. o_o Or are you talking about Lake of Oblivion where all of those lifestream streams are where you have to fight the different forms of Genesis or something? That bright green light up there? If that's what you're talking about, it's too bright to even ascertain if that's even Emerald WEAPON.

edit: Bah! You're right! I just found it! How awesome is that!? I'm in the Depths of Judgement and if you go up on one of the taller cliffs to where the waterfall is at the back, sure enough Emerald WEAPON is back there and it's frozen. What an awesome find, Chillen! Kudos to you! ^^
 
Wow I never knew that, until just now. Never payed that much attention to detail I guess. I'll check it out after my psp gets done recharging.

For a moment there I thought you fight with it in a mission but still. Anyways, I thought the weapons were created by Shinra since they look all metalic.

hmmm.... yea, the funny thing is a maxed out Zacvk could take Emerald no probs :S he would actually punch him to death (costly punch ftw)

i didnt notice this first time, im gonna keep an eye out on my hard playthrough
 
Wow, I never noticed it, but like said earlier, why is it there and not up North where it should be? :wacky:

I will definately keep my eyes peeled and have a look for it, ooh actually, I should have a save around that area from my last file *goes to look*

Dammit, no I don't, Il have to wait til I get there on my next play through now -__-

I was abit worried that it would be a mission myself actually, Im glad it's not, it gave me a right headache in VII xD
 
y'know, i bet if we pay attention we might find Ruby Weapon...hmmm...

anyhow, good find! I never would have noticed that!

no in Final Fantasy VII (the original version) they explain that the WEAPONs were created by the planet to protect it in its time of need, for example when Sephiroth and Shinra were trying to use the lifestream for their own purposes

Actually, the WEAPON's were created to specificaly defeat Jenova. However Jenova was contained by the Cetra before they were put into use.

either i havent found it or it's not that impressive to be honest, all i can see is loads of ice and emeralds shoulder blades

And what does Jenova want to do to the planet, use it and pretty much harm it, the planet is watching Jenova because it could harm the planet
 
Whoa, I just got to the last part and I found it, I never noticed it until I started to look closely at everything. That's really cool, thanks for pointing it out so I could find it.
 
Yeah I remember this video, I saw it on youtube. Where your in some cave and there's a giant frozen figure that greatly resembles Emerald Weapon. Must be it. You can't examine it or anything it's just there.
 
Really? *blink blink* Well, I guess I'll have to check it out myself during my next playthrough since I don't have a save around that area >_<. Good find though! It'd be cool if there were other weapons too xD
