Galbadia garden

...dude. its
mobile like Balamb garden

There are no theories, we know what happens to it

Its sat behind you ... I dunno lolz. What theory are you after?? The thing can fly, so its buggered off somewhere and got repaired or maybe its moved to a different location to get more students or something. Is it really that important??

If you mean "where did it
fly
off to", then I'm not sure they ever say. It would be cool if they had it
flying
around the world map or perhaps picked a new location for it to
land
.

I'm guessing that we are meant to believe that it is
flying
around randomly, or perhaps it has found a
place to land
safely for a while. It just isn't visible to the player because it does not need to be as it is not a location the player should go to later on in the game.

Since it is an RPG, game locations are only visible if you can go to them, and they don't show every town / vehicle that is on the planet. Since Galbadia became
mobile
I'm just guessing they took this as an opportunity to delete it from the map so that the player couldn't get to it, but we are meant to believe it has
gone somewhere
.

I always thought it was sank to replace the massive vaccum left by the ressurection of lunatic pandora in the ocean or maybe they out fitted it with an Esthar cloaking device lol. or maybe theres a bemuda triangle like place on centra those of you above me are just jealouse you didnt think of such an important question like the young feller who made this thread...........probably cause they have lifes lol

The Crater was caused by the former
Lunar Cry

As for Galbadia, most likely it's
flown off by now
since Edea
chose it as a base of operations
it would make sense that she went there after the
attempted assassination
and got the place moving.

Once you get Balamb
to fly
there is a similar Crater where it used to be.

The Crater was caused by the former
Lunar Cry
There's no proof of that is there? It says that one lunar cry destroyed Centra, anything other than that is speculation.

Once you get Balamb to fly there is a similar Crater where it used to be.
Because of the Galbadian missiles.

There's no way of knowing where the Garden went after the end on disc 2. We know where it isn't though.
Also why would it have a cloaking device from Esthar?:monster:

I believe an NPC in Esther mentions that the crater was caused by the
last lunar cry
I can't remember exactly where it is mentioned but i'm positive an NPC in Esther mentions it :hmmm:

And as for the missiles, I simply assumed that all that weight nestled down and swiftly moved would've caused the earth around it to rip out like that :hmmm: nothing
ever attacks Galbadia Garden, yet a similar crater appears there once it gains flight abilities, presumably during the D District Prison incident

Edit: Just had a quick google and I heard that people in Esther mention it, as well as that in the Laguna Dream Sequence where he shoots the movie he sees a pillar of light from the past lunar cry. This area being very close by to the crater. Also, taken from FF Wikia...

According to the FFVIII Ultimania, that crater is indeed the location of a previous Lunar Cry.

It can be assumed that the Trabia Crater was a test fire for the than new Lunatic Pandora, after which it was deemed too powerful and expelled to the bottom of the sea.

I see.. That does clear a lot of questions up.

However I will point out that when Galbadia does fly away, it doesn't leave a crater at all, just the platform that it used to sit on. When you go around there afterwards it looks as if the school could once again land on it and like.. plug itself back in.

Perhaps the school floated up very high in the sky, above your sight. Like from that one really stupid movie.

maybe they bought it ebay........I here they also sell sense of humour.....I cant figure what you guys are saying up there but Lunatic Pandora initiates an artificial luna cry and the crater i trabia was created this way...eesh

And the drater is not what im talking about Im on about Trabia canyon kiddies

i should really read all of the post before I....er....post coz that just makes me sound like
person......Just to remind people who are interested Trabia canyon is on the other side of the crater

Mod edit: Please do not double post.

you would think they would put it back where it was huh? yeah just look at there soldiers......bunch of useless prats IMO they are the ones who probably lost it for cryin out loud

they went off to train for the upcoming battle....

they really should have let it level up and allowed to be replayed, u'd find it floatting around, if you go near it itd have a level approximating its strength compared to the storyline battle and you can invade it if your on ragnarok or give it a full scale war with balamb!

Haha! All you guys and your crater theories! XD Tell me this: I always thought the crater's were caused by the missles trying to be aimed at the gardens! When you are at the missle base, you alter the target of them of them and the error of the missles hitting. Similar crater in Balamb was caused by missles aimed at it, so maybe that crater was where the altered missles hit. (Trabia garden and the crater in North/Northeast of Balamb so the missles could have just whizzed on by.)

:hmmm:

This is a good question, and I've questioned it myself actually. The main thing I always assumed was that because of the mobility, it just keeps moving around, and you never cross paths again. The place is basically an acadamy, so even after the fallout, they would still be teaching/training. Naturally it didn't settle anywhere, otherwise it would have been seen. Unless they possibly dumped it in the ocean, but even then, it would float. So my theory is that Galbadia Garden still exists and is traveling about while the students go about their business. :ryan:

Yeah it could have kept moving around?
That would not really effect student enrolment from a logistical POV they could set points for picking up new students and there travels.

Cloaking device the hell was I thinking?
