Games you bought then never touched...

Ninety Nine Nights...
Because I saw the gameplay vids on Youtube, and I immeadiedly didn't touch it, and also...tbh, I was in the middle of playing Final Fantasy 13 at the time.

Dark cloud - This was yeeears ago when I was much younger, it wasn't really my sort of game back then but having played dark chronicle I wouldn't mind giving this a go.

Legend of Dragoon - I played the demo of this just before it came out, got it played about 5 minutes of it and haven't touched it since. After reading a decent amount about it on here I'd love to play it.

There's plenty more but I'm just too tired to think.

FFIII

I don't own a DS, but I had a gift certificate for EBgames so I bought the DS version of the game, just have never gotten around to playing it since I'm DS-less.

It sucks, but it was just one of those games that I wanted to own because it was never before released in the US.

I have far too many though I have full intentions to play them when I find the time; I have cleared out and traded in or sold my games numerous times and they are now down to only those games I want to play. Most of the games are on handhelds, which I seem to neglect more often. >.<

PS1:

  • Vagrant Story

PS2:

  • Grandia 2
  • Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
  • Some random dancing games...

Gamecube:

  • Skies of Arcadia
  • Tales of Symphonia

360

  • Dragon Age: Origins
  • Blue Dragon
  • Lost Odyssey
  • Assassin's Creed

GBA:

  • Golden Sun (only played a couple of hours...)
  • Sword of Mana (only played a few hours again...)

PSP:

  • The Simpsons Game
  • Sega Megadrive Collection
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
  • Final Fantasy VII: Crises Core
  • Star Ocean: Second Evolution

Games I bought then sold without playing properly are:

  • Persona 4 - hated the battle system
  • Magna Carta - HATED the battle system
  • Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus
  • Kingdom Hearts - got to the end of Alice in Wonderland and just hated the battle system... The fact I sold this makes me a little sad as I now want to play it again. >_<
  • Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King - too much grinding required.
  • A Prince of Persia game on the PSP
  • Silent Hill on the PSP - didn't get along with the gameplay or lack of savepoints.
  • Hotel Dusk on the D.S.
And many more. :(

PS3:

Eternal Sonata - Played it once and liked it, but haven't gotten back to it. I've just kind of been a trophy whore as of late, and the game doesn't have trophies :hmmm: Need to get out of that.

PS2:

Xenosaga Ep. 1 - I got this around when I bought my PS3. So I have about 6-7 hours on it and haven't gone back to it. Mainly because I didn't feel like switching back to my PS2 at the time (which is now in my brother's room).

My entire backloggery has the rest of the games I cba to remember right now :hmmm:

I do tend to play the games I buy because I avoid buying them until I'm literally bursting with desire. Unless I am given them as a gift, in which case out of honour and respect for the giver, I play the game at least a bit and intend to play more later.

I think the main game that I didn't really play after buying it was Chocobo: A Game of Dice (or something like that). I bought it really as a collectible novelty from ebay. It's a boardgame style game for the Gameboy Advance. It is entirely in Japanese and I therefore did not understand the rules, and therefore could not really play the game. I fiddled with the buttons a few times but then had to quit.

I had every intention of playing when I bought it, but never got round to it. It's on a shelf somewhere now, and I may get to it one day.

Technically I 'touched' it. But I couldn't claim to have played it.

Dead Nation.

I technically started it, but as soon as it loaded I turned it off and never looked at it again. That game turned me off that quick.

Hoshigami Remix (DS). Never heard of it before. But I couldn't wait for FFT to come out for the PSP, so I bought it to hold me over. Then I got FFT:TLW, ant haven't played it in a while. There was some neat stuff to it though, So I'll pick it up again someday.
