I've seen it spelt both ways
The only other we he spelt it was Chris Novoselic on their debut album "Bleach"
After that album he reverted back to Krist Novoselic, the same time as Kurt Cobain changed back from Kurdt Cobain.
If you read Kris Novoselic somewhere then it was a typo, either that or it has slipped past me altogether.
