In one of the interviews, Nomura said that BbS' secret ending could be obtained the way the secret endings usually were obtained in KH1 and KH2. I assume that means beating the game on Proud Mode (there's more to it, right? I can't remember...) or completing it on Normal Mode and completing Jimmy's Journal (although how does that apply in BbS..?)

Anyways, my question is that since BbS is a game divided into 3 POV playthroughs, are you required to do something for each POV, and will the order you play the POVs effect getting the secret ending as well? Nomura even specifically said that you should ideally play the game as Terra, Ventus and then Aqua, so I'm not sure...

Thoughts?

"To get the secret ending, you need to first get every Xehanort's reports, which will unlock the Last Episode that you need to beat.

Most Xehanort's reports can be acquired simply by going through the stories of every characters. However, there are some that are inside chests, and one needs to be acquired from Mirage Arena.

A strange observation is that the Japanese wiki doesn't say anything about difficulty at all; it's as if you can do this in any difficulty."

Apparently, you only need to get all of the reports and 100% completion on Standard mode. I don't think it matters whether or not you're playing the game on Proud mode.

Unfortunately, not much is up right now on how to get the secret ending, but there are a lot of people posting the actual video.

It may be more accessible because, from what I've heard, it's more of a complete ending rather than a preview to KHIII or something. Squeenix'd want to make it more accessible because they want you to experience the full ending.

This is just from what I've heard. I've been trying to avoid spoilers for this game really badly.

How do you access a treasure chest in the Mirage Arena? Isn't that the online area? D=

But I think varying difficulty does effect the ease of getting the secret ending like in KH1 and KH2 - it even says so in the game xD

Also, about treasure chests in general, going through Terra's POV, there are actually certain areas within a world that he has no access to and I'll assume it's vice versa for Aqua and Ventus. My concern is if there's a chest in a restricted area, is it okay to miss it and wait 'til I do another POV and still manage to get the secret ending at the end of doing the 3rd POV?

Its a reward for terra for beating Sentinel Sentry I believe. Its not a chest, and I don't think she said it was in a chest in mirage arena, I think she just said you obtain it from Mirage Arena. I think I've no-lifed this game too much ○_○

on beginner mode you cant unlock it
on standard mode you have to complete everything 100% collect all the stickers, fight every boss, finish every mini game ext.

on proud mode and critical all you need to do is collect all of the Xehanort reports

it unlocks the final episode. then you create a game file, load it, then after fighting the boss in the final episode go to 'blank points' in the theater mode and there it is

:)

I might play the game on Proud Mode after I get through all 3 POVs the first time - that's how I've always seen the secret in the past KH games :ness:

I'm just really worried about those treasure chests. I hope I don't need to get all of them in one POV :hmmm:
