GF dilemma, might or memory

My memories only bring depressing thoughts so I'd go with the GF, hell at least you'd have someone to talk to besides yourself when you go for a walk, or hunt.
 
It depends on the context of the question, However to avoid an long argument Yes I would sacrifice the memories to gain the power.
Isn't it worth it for one person to lose who they are if it means you can save million more?
I mean I would gladly give up everything I am and what makes me a person (I.E. memories) if it ment I would have the power to protect the one's I love. In my opinion it is no question.
 
However, you would lose all memory and feeling for the ones that you love, thus making this very much a catch-22.

I suppose though that if you were orphaned, raised to be a paramilitary mercenary and were faced with a world in constant warfare...yeah, it would be worth it

well if i were a character in ffVIII i wouldn't give up my memory for power. my memories made me into the person i am today so yeah =) besides even without GFs i would be able to carry ridiculous weapons like gunblades, frisbee blades (rinoa's lol), and whips into town.
and to the "would the characters have junctioned" question i would prob say no. They were all close buddies in the orphanage, but after they junctioned GFs they completely forgot each other and that was kinda sad =(
 
Hell yea, if i have Shiva as my GF hell yea!!!! :P

But ill try and not to use her that much cause of my memories are dizzy from time to time, but its a GF! i'll sell my soul to the devil if i can have a GF!
