I like the negative way Wakka reacted to the party going up against characters like Seymour and Yunalesca. With most all the characters determined to stop influential leaders without question, it seems so out of place that it was a good comic relief. I liked his accent as well.

I noticed how he always seemed to differ from the other characters; especially in the scene where they're all headed towards Malcalania temple and they get attacked by the Al Bhed. I deep down think he's soft (mentally. Physically he's one of the most powerful characters I use.), but that's just him caring for his party.

I actually thought he was a pretty good character too :hmmm: And I agree, I think his opposition to them doing that made him more realistic; I mean, a lot of people IRL would not just suddenly go against a leader without hesitation after being used to that leader being an integral part of the status quo for so long, they'd at least question it a bit first. Plus, he was extremely useful in battles; I almost always had him as one of my team of three due to his attack power and speed.

I always scratch my head at the fact that a bunch of imperfect "heroes" have to go up against people who barely fit the description of evil. Kefka from VI being an exception.

Kefka = Win. He's the only FF villian that likes to have fun doing his dirty work. But most of the heroes do seem regular (unless you count the ones in the Crystal Chronicles series).

I really like Wakka too.........he's a bit like Sazh from XIII.......the sort of brotherly person who cares about you and others. He looks like a really kind guy too.

But that could be just why he went against the partys idea to go against seymour and yunalesca.

and like Estrella said deep down think he's soft (mentally. Physically he's one of the most powerful characters

I liked Wakka.
He gets a bum rap from too many people.
Yeah he's a spiritual person so he didn't want to go against Beville.
Not a surprise.

He acts more in character than most FF characters.
So that's fine in my opinion.

I don't mind Wakka...I find his views and personality annoying at times..but that's just the realism.

It's like when people go after Rinoa for being the way she is in FF8 or Squall. The annoying characters are usually the most realistic ones. And I usually like the most realistic ones.

Yeah Wakka was a good character, loved his reactions when Lulu scolded him every time he spoke. Did you know that Wakka's voice actor is Bender in Futurama:wacky:

I always thought he was a bit of a douche. Everyone else is on the gravy train here to do their job as a Guardian, and he can't decide whether he wants to pull the stick out of his ass and carry on or quit.

He's always irritated me, to be honest.

Wakka as faith, and FFx its about faith and repent going agains lord Seymour its going against an elder, and its agains that in religion !!!

Wakkas accent is ok, I don't mind it. Also I never use him, but.... He's hot so I like him. :B

Wakka was awesome! He was always in my party most of the time though his primary function was to eliminate flying enemies. I just loved watching him beat things to death with a ball. That was ball he had there, it must have been as hard as a rock!

I like Wakka he's a strong character a bit stubborn but he was brought up to believe machine's are bad and only bad thing's happen to the people who use them. I like that he is forced to fight his belief and that he start's to accept people for who they are.

Like Wakka because he was strong and great at blitzball ( always used him when i hired him).
