Good shape or Bad shape?

I've strayed off my diet lately, and I'm just now getting that back under control. I used to not care about my appearance and health, and that was a bad idea. I ended up being about 180 pounds (Only being 5'2" at the time). I'm also planning on starting up a running routine about daily or every other day. I'm also looking to join a gym at some point. I really want to get myself back into shape. So right now, I suppose you could mark me in the middle.

I've been trying to get out most days for some walking to get some exercise, burn some calories, but then comes food; I like it, I eat it, quite a bit of it. :gasp: I must weigh close to 230 pounds right now, just short of six feet tall (I want to be six feet tall, darn it! But I am 20, probably done growing...height wise. :wacky:). >_>

I need to try eat less, and better food, mainly. I get some exercise in, but my weight is getting a little bit out of hand, not too much yet though, so I'm going to do something about it before it gets too extreme, it would be great to get under 200 pounds. xP

Walking outside will be more productive once I have a portable media playing device again so I can get into a good rhythm and keep a steady pace going. <.<

I am, superficially at least. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week and I exercise on top of that, usually just a game of touch or two, tough rugby that is. However I smoke a lot, which is rather unhealthy.

My brothers server the country, but when they visit, they show me new ways of staying in shape.

I try to do push ups, pull ups, sit ups and run through the forest by the lake everyday if I can. I also try to do my Martial Art stances; horse, snake and all that. Try to at least lol

I'm really unfit and it doesn't show. People say I've got a good metabolism or something because I can eat and eat but it won't show. Which is true but I also suffer(probably not the best word to use, since I don't really suffer from it >.>) from a heart problem so my doctor was all, "PLEASE EXCERCISE" so recently I have been picking up my game. My college/6th form/year 12 (whatever it is to you xD) has an unreal amount of stairs. Most of my lessons are on floor 8/9 and usually the lifts are packed to the brim, so I find myself walking 9 floors daily. It makes your legs feel like jelly but you feel born again when you finally hit the 9th floor. :D Alas, that all said I don't really watch what I eat but now I kind of have to. >w<

I'm the same.

I can eat whatever I want and not put the weight on, but as soon as I mention that I need to eat healthier and excercise people go, 'Why do you need to do that for? You have a good metabolism and you never put any weight on.'

I'm like, 'Seriously? That's a stupid response.' Did they ever think I might just want to be healthy and keep fit?

Just because I have a decent figure does not mean in any way that I'm fit. =/

I'm somewhere in the middle I guess. On the exercise front I do recreational gymnastics once a week and dance once a week, but besides those things I don't do any other intense exercise on a regular basis. Two years ago I religiously went to the gym at least three times a week (for a year) but alas, that is no more. On the plus side I walk moderately long distances (2-3km) quite often because my family doesn't have a car.

On the food front, I am pretty bad. At times I have a sweet tooth so I eat a bit of junk. Initially I tried to cut back on bad food but I then decided to just try a vegetarian diet. So it's been a little over a month since I last had meat. I figured that if I cut meat out of my diet I can eliminate fast food and processed meat easily. My philosophy is that it's better to have a glass of Pepsi rather than a glass of Pepsi and a Quarter-Pounder.

Also I don't smoke and the last alcoholic beverage I had was in 2008. So that better count for something. :wacky:

I'm not in the greatest shape, i'm really skinny and don't eat as much as I should, sometimes skip meals just because I never feel like eating. I skateboard a lot though, which I suppose is healthy?

I try to stay in shape. I don't really excercise all that much, because I'm just too lazy. To get my excercise, I go and work out at my old high school with the football team.

I've tried to keep to a certain excercise plan, but I couldn't seem to find the motivation to keep going with it.

I never exersize. I have to run up and down stairs all day carrying whatever so technically I feel free not to exersize. But I do enjoy a good walk now and again just to see the sun.
I dont eat crappy food often and I dont drink anything besides coffee, tea or water day to day so I think for me it realy dosent matter if I exersize or not I burn off whatever I eat so I dont realy gain mass unless I start to eat sugary stuff wich is rare since I know my motabalism is ubber slow.

I'd like to think I'm in shape. However I will admit to some serious self image, and self esteem problems that I have. I always seem to be able to find some party (physically), that I'm not satisfied with. : /

I'm not fat, but definitely not in good shape. It's not really a case of losing weight for me, and never has been; I just need to lose what body fat I have and replace it with muscle.

A tell-tale sign that I need to exercise more is when my cheeks start to look and feel chubby. Usually this lets me pre-empt some kind of exercise regime, but lately it's just not been possible with constraints at work. =/ I'll get to it within 4 or so weeks though, hopefully.

According to the people that tested my vitals when I gave blood last month, I am in excellent shape, which is kind of bizarre considering I rarely exercise and I don't exactly eat healthy.

Good genes, I suppose.
