Goofy after Demyx

That entire scene is so epic, I only paid attention to Goofy "dying" for like, five seconds. I knew he couldn't die, because it would be too awkward only having two party members, and angry parents around the world would attack Disney/Square-Enix if Goofy actually died.

Then again, they could've replaced Goofy with someone like Squall... mmm. :]
 
Nah, I wasn't fooled into thinking that Goofy had been killed. If they were gonna kill him off, they'd probably think of something better than some random, flying rock.

I'm thinking something like...

...Xigbar is about to empty all his ammo into an exhausted Sora when, all of a sudden, Goofy jumps in the line of fire! What results is a slow-motion scene where several dozen laser blasts shred through Goofy's carcus, passing straight through him with crimson sprays of blood littering the air. During this scene, the signature Kingdom Hearts sad moment theme is playing in the background. Oh! And Goofy maintains conciousness long enough to utter his final words: "Kill that fucker, Sora. *cough* Hyuck."

If that happened, I'd have believed Goofy died.

yeah me too. what I had in mind is.......
In the final battle,Xemnas is about to pierce Sora,but all of a sudden Goofy materializes in the middle!Xemnas is outraged,throws Goofy in the air and cuts him to ribbons.From the midst of the bloody mass,a weak "Hyuck" can be heard.Sora goes absolutely berserk,throws his Keyblade in the air and impales Xemnas with some Thundagas while screaming : "FUCKEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
While Xemnas is burnt to ashes,Riku,out of jealousy,kills both Sora and himself,whispering "We'll be in hell together Sora..."

I have to say it would have been a shame if Goofy died, I doubt KH2 would be the same without him.

It really got me riled up for the battle against the heartless and i was shocked to see Goofy again after beating the heartless though. At first I thought he was a heartless or a ghost, but his heart didn't fly off so that could be one technicality. :monster:
 
I was waiting for some sort of explanation when Goofy returned, but nothing was clarified. "Hiya, guys! You must have been too dumb to check for a pulse or breathing earlier! I was actually knocked unconcious! Funny, huh? Go figure." That whole chain of events was stupid.

It'd sure be awkward for Donald and Sora if Goofy actually died. Those long, quiet trips in the gummi ship would be more difficult to endure without the third person (duck, dog, whatever) to curb most of the discomfort.
