Greetings from the new admin

As some might have noticed, I've deleted the Donate link at the top. I don't need donations :)

There was some stuff there about upgraded features though. Do people want there to be other ways of achieving said features?

How many admins has this site had? I only knew about LeeD and the one before... was it DS o_O?
 
Well i had to shift my life around to work and earn money so I could do stuff.

DB started the site and he wasn't exactly my favorite. I never knew Leed so can't say anything about him. I hope Lord Golbez will be good admin.

That's a lot of posts for one day... I think that's the most I've ever seen in one thread on one day, I can understand as to why though.
 
Hello. I'm one of those creepy lot who barely ever post but still lurk around. Good luck running a forum, it's not hard when you get the hang of things.:monster:

I know you can always click a certain something to make areas disappear, but this is the only forum ever I have been on in my 6 years of forum life to ever have such a layout problem *criez*

I'm glad to hear that you'll be pretty active around the forum. Also, a very nice job on the speedy and seamless transfer of the forum. I have a really good feeling that things are finally going to be running a whole lot better around here. ^_^

That says a lot about your character. However, some people have the "Friend of FFF" badge on their profile if they have donated money. Will that go, too?

Simply copying and pasting smilies just isn't enough sadly. You have to input the code manually. Though considering how you like to respond to bits and pieces from numerous posts, you'd be better off using the multi-quote feature. Keeps everything all lovely an' stuff. ;p

Auto-merge is kind of useful, but it gets in the way for staff. Perhaps we should be exempt from it?

Awesome, an admin who actually is interested in the forum and the topic and is wanting to put work into it. That is the best kind possible. Congrats on your new board.

Lord, also, I'm a VB admin myself and should you need any help technically or anything, feel free to reach me with PM. I'd be more then glad to show you the ropes.
