So since some places it is already 2013 others like mine it is new years eve, anyone going make any new years resolutions??? going actually keep them? or you going make them to break them?
Happy New Year to folks. Not 2013 yet where I am at. I skip the usual resolutions to lose weight, eat better, etc., etc.. Much more fun to do something like: I resolve to hook up my old NES and play through FF1 using all black mages. Something fun like that.
I've not had a bad year, but towards the end it got a bit weird. I'm not gonna be all 'yeah 2012 is over, 2013 gonna be way better' because lets face it, not much will change and I'm not gonna make a resolution either because I guarantee I'll just break it.
But yeah happy new year, have a good 2013 :dave:
Bleh, happy new year all. These past 4 years have gone by way too fast. Oh well. 2012 is done. It wasn't the best, but for sure not the worst. I look forward to 2013.
I'm not gonna make any. I never stick with em. I'll just go with the flow like I always do. I'm just Chillin.
2012 has been mixed for me, as all years typically are. Highs and lows. On the whole, I think it has been an interesting one.
As for New Year Resolutions... I never make them... Or if I ever have done in the past (on here for example), then I've forgotten them immediately after making them.
I genuinely and absolutely must follow my very general plan of coming out of myself a lot more and communicate better with people. It absolutely must happen from now on, or I must make steps, else it never will and I'll have wasted my youth. So yes, I'll work generally on that.
Happy New Year.
Pinch and a punch for the first day of the month, no returns. Etc.
I don't make new years resolutions. Why wait til the start of a new year to start doing something new? You should start a resolution whenever you like! Plus you're least likely to stick with it if you feel like you have to make one just because it's new years
I made resolutions. which come into effect from tomorrow, since I have been abroad.
#1 is to join an exercise class and/or to attend a different class each week. I am quite busy with my PGCE, but I really miss exercising (I was able to cycle during the days last year) and an evening class once a week would be a great sociable activity; I'd like to meet a few people too. =]
#2 is to stop eating chocolate for a couple of months. If I eat it at all, it becomes a habit, and I don't enjoy it that much. I find it easier to eat absolutely no chocolate, and I'd rather eat healthy snacks anyway. =)
#3 is to lose a bit of weight, which should happen as a result of #1 and #2 .
