Alright hopefully i can answer/ help some of you for im going to create a sort of different Topic to try and help you guys, and beautiful ladies with this NEW Topic. This is going to be a test Topic. Just beware im only good at Boss battles and Creating weapons and armor and finding the rare item to create them. im thinking of a way to start it because i do know the answers to many of your problems in battle and why theyre so hard when they shouldnt be. itll be created today though. Wish me luck!
I didn't really find any of them overly challenging, but some did drag on, so I'll mention a couple.
Evrae/Evrae Altana:
Like some people, I didn't know his unsent form would be a zombie, so I didn't think to use curative items. His first form... well I only had Wakka which could hit for noteworth damage seeing as he halved the effectiveness of Lulu (I spent most of my time away from Evrae in that fight).
Seymour Guado:
His first form. Not particularly challenging, but his Guado Guardians throwing potions on themselves after taking damage was a pain in the ass. Made the fight really quite slow, moreso with tjem using Shremedies on me... Also, Seymour having such high level magic was ridiculous. After killing Anima, I normally had just enough time to cast the corrosponding Null spell... however if I didn't, it was guaranteed that I'd lose a character, and spend many turns trying to revive him (for some reason, he always went for Tidus).
Sanctuary Keeper:
Photon Wings and Curaga... ugh. Conjoined with the amount of HP he had, even tactically beating him took a fair while.
Yunalesca (first form):
Only her first form because of her counters. The following two forms were far too easy. I'd accidentally read something about Yunalesca casting Mega Death upon defeating her second form, so it didn't come as a surprise when I left all my characters in the zombie status.
Own Anima:
Guh... I always powered up Anima, so beating it was a pain in the ass. You can't lose, but technically you might not be able to win either. Annoying...
Own Magus Sisters:
Same as with Anima.
Own Shiva:
My favourite Aeon, so naturally I ploughed her full of stats. Not a friendly foe. D'=
Yunalesca was tough enough. Well no tough, she was irritating. She just pulled out stalling tactics one after the other and her physical attack with Dispel was annoying.
Seymour Flux was tough but if you prepared properly and had all the Aeon's overdrives ready then he was a cakewalk.
i would have to say yunalesca and sin w/ overdrive! im still up to sin with overdrive!!! i cant beat him in it was like 13 moves i think he gives you before using da stupid overdrive """"
Personally, I found Evrae on the airship was the easiest battle I did... Besides his underwater form... I just flew away from the guy and used cheer like mad, 12 times methinkith, then used the M. defence up. And Hastaga, he was owned in no time... heck, his most damage to me was about 223 and that one multi hit attack.
Seymour flux, took me at least 10 tries to beat, though then I just got all Aeon overdrives and went
apeshit
on his arse!
Ahhh, Sin in the air, can I say, really fun battles? Same for Evrae in air, just longer and much more annoying, but with annoying as hell overdrives... Regen anyone?
Hardest of all? Well, thats part of the game... I'd have to say... most likely Sanctuary Keeper, I was very underleveld, only did about 1500 damage per round...
yunalesca was my hardest. after i kept dying i went off and trained for most of the day. then my friend came over and i said "U want to see me get my ass kicked?" so a showed him the fight and i won easily
Yunaelsca for the reguiar storyline, but overall, it was probably Ultima Buster. It took me quite some time that night to figure out a good pattern and strategy, but the harder Monster Arena battles were some of my defining moments as an FF fan.
the hardest boss for me was Evorlett. The flying carpet keeps hasting itself when its low on hp and you cant slow it down. I dont even remember how i killed it but every time i fought it it never got any easier.
