Has Kingdom hearts lost its touch?

I might as well as face, KH has gotten convoulted but it is a complex story even it is not in a very good way. I just wanted to know where Riku was on the other side of the door, not all this stuff about the 13th Order, Roxas and Knights. At one time I did but I wised up and realized the Nomura is just pulling things out of his ass. KH is a victim of its own success, Squaresoft wouldn't milk it as much as Square Enix does.

I just wish tha they just continue Sora's story and continue with KH3.

I just wanna comment about the whole unnecessary spin-off thing.

I get it, really I do. I also want to know where Sora's adventures are gonna take him, but here's the thing people forget sometimes: these so-called spin-offs are giving an actual reason for KH3.

Think about it. How did KH2 end? Riku and Sora coming back home. The End.

Now tell me, with only KH1 and KH2, where could the story have gone from there? No where.

Its because of all these extra games that KH3 has the potential to actually exist in the first place.

I think people are mostly angry about the Spin off's being on multiple handhelds... also some of the spinoffs were a little pointless...and you could probably have merged the stories of all the spin offs into a larger handheld game rather than several spread across several handheld systems.

BBS had its own story, I understand that but Days and Re:Coded were almost not needed.

I still go by the belief that Days was made for fans who were HUGE Organization XIII and Roxas fans who wanted to play as them. But it is true even though these 3 spin-off games seemed like a cash out deal, they served a purpose. I dunno, I like Sora and whatever but getting to play as Xemnas and Riku or Terra was pretty fun in my opinion. Would have been better if it was done on a PS2 but whatever, it was still fun nonetheless.

The series, quite frankly, started sucking at KHII. The KHII plotline was absolute crap. Not because of the Organization, but everything else. The world's weren't as nice. I really enjoyed the original Kingdom Hearts because of the magic and the darker side to things. KHII lost all that darkness. It became completely childish. Just go take a look at the heartless designs of both I and II if you don't believe me. It was just utter crap as a game.

358/2 days was better, shoot me, than KHII. I quite frankly liked the plotline of that more than I did KHII. Albeit repetitive, it still had more value to me than KHII.

The rest of the games, asides from CoM, were crap as well. BBS ruins all the magic in KHI. Sora was supposed to be the one true Keyblade wielder. He was supposed to the be the hero. Why are all of these random keyblade wielders popping up? So you're basically telling me Sora, the one destined to save everything, is one of 23094934 people like him? No. That's just not acceptable.

3D looks like crap. Just the idea of 'having to take an exam' for mark of mastery to be a true Keyblade wielder is so incredibly stupid I cannot fathem what they are thinking. In the first one, if you got the drift, it was magical. You were chosen by the keyblade. You were the one special person who destined to save everything. Now you're not only one of 23908234 saviours of the universe, but now we have to take a test to prove that? Weren't we already a keyblade master? Why do we need a test? What is that going to prove? Isn't our saving of the universe enough? Sora was special. It's just stupid that they have to take away from that.

Imho, they should quit making KH. :c I've loved Kingdom Hearts from the very beginning. (I played it when KHI first came out) But it needs to wrap up. Now they're just doing it to make money. There's no value left in it. They're sucking the magic dry. Just end it.

So no, the magic is not there anymore. /end rant

I don't think so. I really don't. I am as into Kingdom Hearts II as I was into Kingdom Hearts I, and Birth by Sleep was surprisingly addictive and fun as well; and I was into that one just as much. I can still play old and new KH games to my hearts content; until they try to replace Sora or something like it, I don't think I will hate the KH series ever.

I don't kike the genral direction theya re taking the series, they should had focused on Sora instead just mashing together the latest Sora clone to give the illusion that it is Sora's story. We don't need another Roxas, Xion, Aros or whatever, jsut focus on Sora.

duhh.. of course it lost its touch it has gone to nintendo with its crappy resolution etc

bbs at least had some nice elements sony rules!
