Hating the Gas Prices -- I'm Taking The Train!

The prices have recently gone down a little to about $1.40 a litre. I can't complain though because I don't drive yet. I still rely heavily on public transport and luckily the public transport system is very good over here. Also from where I live, the city is only a 15 minute walk away. So getting around is quite easy here.

One solution which some of my friends have come up with to keep up with the rising petrol prices is to get a motorbike instead.

They have been going down in price around here right now it is $2.33 a gallon.

$1.86 around where I live. =] Usually it costs us about 45 bucks for gas, but today it was only around 20 bucks. Hopefully it keeps going down. My husband will be driving across the U.S (from Ohio to California) in December, so we're hoping it will go down more by December, or at least it'd stay that way for awhile.

Ah, you know California has horrendous gas prices still. :monster:
Although it's way down from 3.50 from 3 months ago (it's more like 2.85 a gallon now), but I'm still not going on long trips on the car just to save money.

I occasionally get out and fill the car up, when my mum can't be bothered :-)wacky:) and I've noticed that the prices have come down, slightly (last I saw it was £1.10 per litre, or something, and now it's about £0.95). It's still nowhere near the 60p per litre period that we used to have, though. -__-
