Have you created music?

I liked your guitar tone a lot. It sounded similar to Jeff Loomis or even Ihsahn.

Btw what program were you using for the drums?
 
Thanks! I don't really think the tones are all that similar myself, but I do appreciate the compliment! I'm a big fan of both of those guys.

SSD4 for the drums. LePou for the guitars.
 
I have played many songs and created a few different riffs, but never really actually composed anything. But if I ever do, I'm sure it'll be a hit with the kids. :monster:

Was SSD4 pretty simple to use?

My friend has a drum machine that I had planned on using, but it doesn't have a manual with it and I haven't the slightest idea how to work. So, I was thinking the program route.

It's just as easy to use as any other drum plugin, honestly. If you have a solid knowledge of midi programming or just simply programming drums in something like Guitar Pro, you'll be fine.

I always go in and edit the velocity for each hit and things like that, which is just part of me being anal, but it doesn't make it any harder to use.

It really comes down to what DAW you're using as to how easy it is to program stuff in.
 
Hey everyone! I am from germany and i have just registered here because i would like to share a project i did with a guy from Britain via youtube. One day he wrote me because he saw my other videos/covers and he meant i am quite the ambitious type he seeks to Co-Op with. We took the boss battle theme of Final Fantasy VIII "Force your way" and did a rock/metal version and also recorded one-takes of our instruments.
