Have you ever won the lotto?

I ask because I won for the first time ever in my life tonight. XD

I got Division 5, which is the lowest you can get to win.

I ended up with $31.90, but I made a $10 profit. XD

Now I was thinking, if I did win the big bucks, would I tell the world about it or not.

Well, no I wouldn't. >.< I would hate to have people you once knew crawling their way back into your life just to get a few dollars out of you.

Also another thing crossed my mind. Would I share it.

Yes, considering it was a reasonable amount that I would be able to share.

Nope, never won in my life. I don't play the lotto...I don't even know how. My grandpa and other family members were so into it in the past though, but I think these days, no one really cares anymore.

If I did win...I'd only tell my family members, really. And close friends. Naturally they'll find out even if I don't tell them since I'd plan to buy a house (not a mansion per se) and everything. And yes, I definitely would share my winnings. Family members and friends that are in need are on the top of my list, and then to charity, but I'll make sure I would be there to personally see the changes made rather than just handing out big bucks and saying, "Here's money for this organization, have fun with it!" I'd be very careful when it comes to charity.

As for entering lotto myself, no. I've seen how my dad and grandpa did it back when I was 8 or 9, and I even remember being asked to pick random numbers for them. But other than that, I don't personally go out to play the lotto.

I won $7 like three days ago.

I only play scratch off cards on holidays and such because I really don't think it's likely that I'll win, and I don't like wasting money.

I think I would only tell my family members, because whenever someone wins something like Mega Millions, it goes on the news, and if you get rich enough, they'll follow what you do with the money. Usually people find out if you waste the money, end up broke, etc. I really don't want that at all.

Would I share it? Yes, but only with the select few in my family who deserve it greatly.

I haven't entered in a lotto before, I've only bought the scratch off cards, so I'm not sure if that counts. I don't enter in like, Mega Millions or anything.

Not myself, but my family have won like £10, £50 and even £100 on the Lottery. For me, as random as it sounds, the Irish scratch cards are where I always end up winning my money lol.

Yes I actually won recently, I won $6 on some scratch off's that my aunt gave me for christmas. And I think the most I have ever won is about $20 on another scratch off.

Would you tell everyone that you won?
Well for something this small of course I would, but if I won something bigger like a couple hundred grand, or a couple of million I wouldn't share it with everybody. I might tell my family but that is about it.

Yes and no, Yes because I know there are some of my family members who aren't exactly in the be living conditions and I would want to help them out of this economic hell that we are living in. And No because some of my family and friends I know would just want the money for greedy reasons, I am all for helping you if you need help but I am not going to give you money just because you want it.

Yes I play the scratch off's every once and awhile, I never played any of the Mega-Millions or anything like that. I just figured I wouldn't have a chance in hell with that so I dont play it.

I have never won anything on the Lottery. When it comes to scratch cards, I think I won £50 somewhere before. Of course, that £50 is now a distant memory because I'm a frequent spender. Then again I don't buy Lotto tickets that often anyway because I don't really want to use up my pound coins.

Would you tell everyone that you won?

I'm not one of these fame-hungry people. If I tell anyone I have won the jackpot, chances are, I'll become some kind of target of exploitation or abuse. Anything like that can happen. I prefer to keep discreet as always. I'm not one to brag.

Would you share your winnings?

Yup. I'm nice, and I think if I ever win money (if I win a lot that is), I will probably give some to family members, especially my parents who I believe have really worked so hard during their lives. As for friends- I'm not sure. It depends how close and deserving they are. Currently- I would say no to friends.

I have- just not very frequently. I bought a ticket the day I turned 16. I thought maybe my birthday luck will rub in- but obviously it didn't, otherwise I will be in some exotic location with servants and nearly everything I can possibly want.

Only if I won big. I doubt I'd shut up about it if I won the jackpot. XD

Yes, I would. Depending on how much I win. If I won the jackpot, I'd pay off the mortgage for mother, see what I could set up for my little brother, and treat a few of my friends.

Well, I never used to enter, because I knew once I started, I wouldn't be able to stop. When I turned 19, I suddenly decided to buy a ticket at random with some of my favourite numbers on it. Been going ever since then and I haven't had any more than 2 numbers at any one time...of course, the week I stop will be the week my numbers come up.

Well I don't very often enter the lottery but I do some scratch offs and i'm terrible at it.. So no i've never won XD.
Oh don't you know i'd brag about winning-- I mean I wouldnt go to strangers saying " I won the lottery and you didnt then wave the cash I got in their faces... *cough* but I'd deff brag about it to my family an' friends if I got rich-- like that XD.

Have i won no, but i have won a number of good money on the scratcher tickets. If i ever did win i wouldn't tell anyone, but then again there's no avoiding that seeing as how you have to go on television anyway.


Would i share any of it? It depends on how people were with me in the past, the way i see it though i honestly don't see myself sharing it with anyone.
People didn't appreciate what i did for them then so why not have it all for myself? its only reasonable.

Once I won not the whole thing I was off by one number...but I would have gotten a few hundred I think I played it on a whim,since most of my friends at the time did I was currious what was so fun about it, I threw the ticket away cause I thought since I diddnt have all the numbers I didnt get anything...to wich my friends yelled at me and told me I should dig threw my trash....and it was garbage day....
Since thats my luck I dont gamble lol
I probably would play now and again if I feel like wasting a doller but I know alot of people who spend their whole weekly checks on lotto tickets wich in my mind is obsene so I dont want to travel that particular road..
If I ever did win the big bucks I wouldnt tell a soul! I might share it with a FEW people but not manny

I guess that depends on how much I'd win. No point if I just win £10 because I'd keep it for myself. As for winning thousands or even millions, I suppose I might. But like I say, depends on how much.

If I won the big one, I wouldn't tell everyone. I'd tell my parents, boyfriend, some close friends and stuff. But I wouldn't go broadcasting it.

In a way. Me and my boyfriend get 2 lines, so if we won we would split it, but I'd do things like give to charity, pay off parents mortgage etc.
