Hello everyone! I'm still new to the website and forums.

I love the layout and all the content. So much to do on this website!

Some basic facts about me:

I'm from the Chicagoland area in IL North America
I've been paying Final Fantasy games since 1998 or 99 I think. Whenever Final Fantasy VIII first came out as that was my first experience
My favorite Final Fantasy is IX and I miss Squaresoft :-)
I'm on a play through of Final Fantasy and this is my first time of playing Final Fantasy I-VI
I am currently on IV. Really enjoying it!

Interested in the RP section as that's new to me and still learning some things about the website.

I have my first Thread up in the Final Fantasy X section. It's a countdown/celebration of the HD Remake that's releasing soon! Come and stop by!

Looking forward to my stay.

Welcome. Make sure to poke your head in the shout box and say hello. :sir:

Welcome to the forums! ^_^

FF8 was my first game as well. We RPers would love to have you participate with us! I hope to see you around the forums.

Hello and welcome to the forums Kupo! FF7 was my first experience with Final Fantasy and back then I believed Final Fantasy 8 to be a sequel to it (Oh how I was wrong haha) I have recently speed ran through FF8 and it is a good game just not the best Final Fantasy title :)

Hope you enjoy your time around the boards and stay active! If you need anything message a mod or pop me a message if you like (Always nice to talk to newcomers)

Speak soon Kupo!

This guys favorite is nine. He's officially awesome.

He's not afraid to go back into the 2d generation. He's officially a badass.

And he wants to roleplay. You and I will get along nicely :ryan:

Although I am not active in any roleplays on this site, I second this statement.

Now to gain more points, who is your favorite character on FFIX? :ahmed:

Thanks for the compliment you Spoony Bard. :-) Just call me Spoony. Seriously I am loving IV. IX will always be my favorite. I'm always hopeful that Squinex can make a good Final Fantasy again. Nomura has said that the traversal map for XV is like the 2D maps of old but now in 3D...and I was saying.....ugh didn't they do that for VII, VIII, and IX. That's one good thing that was said. More than anything..better writers! is needed.

Garland: ...Do not limit memory to just one individual's experiences from birth. That is only the surface. Every life born into this world, whether natural or artificial, requires a parent. And that parent also requires a parent. Life is connected, one to another... If you trace the root of all life, there exists one source. The same can be said for memory. All life constitutes an intelligence that holds memory beyond experience. Memory is not isolated within individuals. It is an accumulation of generations of memories that continues to evolve. You can say that memory and evolution go hand in hand. But most life-forms do not understand the true nature of memories... ...which explains why most memories never cross paths and are left..."untangled."

Kuja: What an auspicious day for Alexandria. Garnet's ascension to the throne has brought hope and peace to this kingdom. The people are overjoyed; they believe a wonderful future is ahead of them... But the celebration isn't over yet. It's time to really light things up! Your former master is here, Bahamut. Play a requiem for her and all of Alexandria!

Zidane: Could she have betrayed me? Nay, ne'er would my love speak false. I must have faith. She shall appear if I only believe! As the sun lends me no ear, I pray instead to the twin moons! I beseech thee, wondrous moonlight, grant me my only wish! Bring my beloved Dagger to me!

Now I don't know about what other people think but that's writing for a video game!! Heck that's just good writing.

And so the Knight Spoony trekked through the wilderness in search of a scribe so the words of light may pierce his soul and heal the shattered memories of his forgotten past..

That's difficult. But it's not Quina. I haven't really thought about it. I like Zidane, Garnet, Beatrix, Vivi, Freya, and Kuja but not in that order

Welcome Spoony! Glad to see another fan of FF9! It's my favourite too :lew:. Vivi is my personal favourite character...such a sad story :sad3:

Nine was indeed very poetic, with a lot of tragedy. People always back up Sephiroth saying he killed Aerith. But look at Kuja, he destroyed alexandria. Why? He wanted to test a new power out. What better way than reducing a kingdom to ashes with it? Then when he lost his temper, he destroyed a whole planet because he was pissed off. But I digress.

IV is great, but VI is one of the best. You will enjoy it very much, and in fact, it'll even give IX a run for its money for your favorite.

Best character from IX is in my opinion Vivi. He's my second favorite Final Fantasy Character of all time, Ramza Beoulve of Final Fantasy Tactics takes first place, that story was fantastic. We need more of that.

Onto roleplay discussion, pop in anytime. I'm currently a member of Scattered Shadows, run by Shenorai, and Tale of the Forgotten, run by Soulcorrupter. There is also a skype group of our roleplay community that you are welcome to join, just give me or one of the RP section mods your skype add and we can add you to the group, provided you have skype of course.
