[Help] How do you beat Marboros??

I love FF8! It's the only ff I've played. I've been playing FF8 for about a year and a half, and for 145 minutes. Currently, I'm on disc 4, leveling up and stuff. But I am having trouble beating the frickin marboros.

make sure to equip ur players with the elements that have resistance it its bad breath, after that just kick its ass, and keep plenty of anidotes
 
yeah, what was said above by nvahok. Equip spells to St. Def that prevent bad statuses such as (examples coming) berserk, confusion, poison, and more which i cannot remember...

Where are you training by chance, and what are your levels?

If your high enough, you could go to 'The Island Closest to Hell' or The 'Island Closest to Heaven', but be warned, since the monsters there are all lvl 100, be careful if you go to train. Save often on the islands, heal up after every battle, and you're likely to level up up to 3 times after each win.
 
Ive killed it easily with 100% death junctioned to Squall so Malboro dies, but I forgot if it works, The best way is junctioning Ultima to all your status defense, that way you immune to all status allignments from Malboros.
 
equip as meny as you can magics what makes youre resistances on statusses beter.
those you must have to be immune for sure: Confuse, Berserk and Break to all! then you can immune what you like.
 
Initiative and 100 Deaths junctioned to Status Attack. Works wonders.
Immunity to Sleep, Confuse and Blind are the most important ones.
Or just Lvl Dwn it to hell, then it can't hurt you. As much.
Which Malboros are you fighting anyway?

Look man

this monster has weakness from pulse ammo with Irvine to beat it after you use magic meltdown ...the hurt will be 10000
you can use degenerator from qusitis to beat it in a second hehe

try the limit breaks with it



you're in the 4th disk ...so you don't have odin
he could finish your problems quickly

but trust me Limit breaks are its weakness

didn't read that indeed

its so effective specially there is a trigger in squalls normal attck you can make it and let that freak disappears
 
this can be effective for a starter w/out any strong magics or abilities,, i used esuna for stat deff junction and berserk, and item ability command,,, as long as long as my chars are not berserk i can survive,,, every encounter squall is alsways on a critical level,,, so i let him do the job,, coz i dont wanna see marlboro die so quickly:D i dont want to kill it.. i love to beat it!!!! peace
