I need your help :rage:

I am in a song rut!!
New songs are what I need. I don't care if the song is 20 years old or 1 month old, I just need you guys to help me by suggesting me new songs or artists. :( I've literally been listening to the same stuff over and over because I just don't know where to look to find new things to listen to. :sad2:

I'm into old rock, a little pop, indie and alternative I like too. Unique sounding songs are appreciated.

I do not like RnB/soul, classical, most country, jappo crappo, weird emo shit, screamo and songs by little kids Eg: Justin Beiber, that new call me maybe chick,Taylor Swift etc.

If you could post youtube links to things you recommend I'll listen to them all :D

your taste of music is kinda different, you say you like a little bit of this and that, its hard to find a unique song but I'll post one for laughs that you might like lol.
I personally like hip-hop and anything else that sounds good like some pop,classical,video game music,orchestral.

i will give you a list of bands.. scope them out on youtube and take your pic of songs from there

eve to adam, rains, parabelle, adrenaline mob, burn halo, redline kings, through these walls, art of dying. all are good alternative style bands.

All that just defined Silversun Pickups. :ari: For their guitar and baselines think Fleetwood mac. They're like a mixture between alternative (used to be indie) and hard rock (at least for guitar solos). Silversun pickups is probably the most unique band out there today. They've created a style all their own, including a lead vocal that I can't for the life of me compare to anyone else I've ever heard. (the closest I can come to comparing it to is the Smashing Pumpkins) and if you don't like the smashing pumpkin's because of his voice odds are you wont like this either. :sad: Any way--now, before you listen to one of their songs, one of two things can be your conclusion after giving it a go; you'll either think his voice is annoying (better not be too harsh on my band :hmph:! ) or you'll actually like the different sound of his voice and end up appreciating the uniqueness of it. (please feel this way :gonk: ) I've heard people say they're an "acquired taste" but at the time I first heard of them I was heavily into hard rock (like ACDC, zeppelin, chevelle, tool) and I found myself instantly drawn to them. However, I'd be fooling myself if I thought there wasn't a 95% chance of you listening to the song and not liking it :damon: Just... give the songs a go. :gonk:





If you do not like them.... oh well, I guess. :damon: I shall remain the only fan on the face of the Earth :okay:
