This is where all questions are answered concerning the realm of FFX.

There is no other sphere grid just one as far as I'm concerned so I'm not sure what you're talking about exactly.

Good thing that i do.

Well when you start the game all over, you must choose out of 2 sphere grids.

1: Beginner Sphere grid
2: Expert/proffesional Sphere grid.

The beginner Spheregrid is for the guys who just started the game and dont know anything about the spheregrid yet. With the Beginner Spheregrid you start at your own path and go on and on till you learned all your skills/spells. Then you can go on path's of other characters.

The proffesional spheregrid is for the Advanced users who already know how the spheregrid works and all, on the pro sphere grid you wont start on your own path and you need to learn the right skills and spell. So its a bit harder to understand then the beginner spheregrid.

I suggest you take the Pro Spheregrid ONLYwhen you think you are ready for it.

the only question I have is what is the other kind of sphere grid and how do I use it, I mean I always thought there was only one sphere grid

I think this comes down to a question ov Game version. I have never played the overseas version which was released in Japan but if I had to make an educated guess I would say this is the main difference between the North American and Japanese versions of the game.

Okay, now that people are mentioning spheregrids, HOW THE HECK DO THEY WORK? I don't even know what mode I'm on. I don't even remember it asking which mode. But I can't seem to equip anything, and if I am, I'm not sure. Basically, I don't know anything about how it works. I've read the little tutorial thing, but I still don't get it.

SPhere grid modes are in International Version only. It includes Expert and well the normal one. and they work by when you level up by gaining AP from every battle and youll recieve a Sphere level then you press sphere grid in the menu and press move so you can moce to another spot and choose use if theres a sts node there...hope that helps:P

well they told you in the game how to use a sphere grid but anyway to add on to what jaxiem said you also get different kinds of spheres that you get from winning battles like power spheres that can raise your stats or if its a empty node then you can use a sphere like a mp sphere which turns the empty node into a mp node that can be used to raise your maximun mp hope that helps to =]

Thanks guys. That's so much easier than reading the long tutorial thing.

Yeah, and, I can't defeat the Sinspawn at Mushroom Rock. I've gotten really close once, but I ended up dying. Is there any specific party members or summons I should use? Or spells or anything? I know Fire works well.

Can you guys help me? I have just gotten Ixion and gotten to the Moonflow. I desprately need Ability Spheres to Teach Lulu: Thundara, Blizzara, and Watera. I also need to teach Kimarhi Delay Attack. Where can I find some Ability Spheres quick?

Use every character in every battle. Use magic to destroy the shells and the head, then whack the main body.

Where you are right now you can get Ability Spheres from Basilisks on Djose Highroad or later on in the *Spoilers*

Thunder Plains from an enemy called Larvae

Hey quick question: Where can I find Shaman armour? Or do I need to customize it?

Alright youll have to tell what abilities are on the Shaman Armour first...because their can be different abilities on each one but still be called Shaman Armour. YOu tell me the abilities and ill tell you if it can be custimized of found ok?

Real quick question. I just saved over my FFX game, but I'm eventually gonna get back to the Crawler, so I might as well just as this now: What party members work best in this battle? I know I need to use Wakka and Lulu. But what other party members? And what abilities and such are best to defeat him?
