Her name?

Hmm..Doesn't matter what name to me really..

they would kill the game from the very beginning if they put a strange name on her....i doubt they would want another X-2 critic.

And as a FFdie hard fan, i WILL HATE ANYONE WHO RUINS AnOTHER GAME AGAIN!!

But Tetsuya Nomura is directing the game this time (Thank God!!) so i doubt there would be such mistakes ^_^
 
Alot of people think its going to be lightening because they saw a screen cap with the word lightening next to the ATB bar, but it can easily be said that thats going to be the attack that she is about to use . It is more valid that her name would be closer to Natch as current rumour holds .
 
Lightning? Why would Square name her that? Who would want a name like that? If her name's gonna be related to nature and lightning, at least give her a different name that still relates to it.
 
I think that Natch would suit her far more than Lightning. I mean, if she was about to cast lightning, and that's also her name, then that would just get plain confusing. I don't think Square would name her that.
 
Depending on her appearance, I could fall for the name, "Lightning". Picture this: blonde, long and jagged spikey hair. Electiric blue eyes and a whippy tongue(sarcastically), this could make a sweet character.

She is the main character of FFXIII (the core game in FNC )
she will not appear in any other titles .
edit: @ vincents lucrecia , it is more plausible that her name would be Natch , which is also another word for nature or natural .

Ah, J3cht, you've got the wrong forum for this. We're discussing the main character from FFXIII's name, not from FFXII's.

@Zero: I do agree with you. Natch seems like it would be her name instead of Lightning.

Sorry J3CHT wrong section and game but its the thought that counts . Well its a stand off between Lightening and Natch , Lightening will cause some confusion if the lightening magic returns but it does go with the weather themed names that are apparent in FF history (dating back before cloud ). Then again like i said Natch is a derivative of Nature/Natural and does sorta keep with a earthy theme so its up for grabs .
 
Well, they could keep the name Lightning, if they just use the Thunder spell name.

:cry2: Yeah my bad It was a tad late when I posted that and wasn't quite thinking clearly so I apologize for that. I was doing some research though and seems at the moment I can find nothing to suggest what her name is. Rest assured though that while I Recieve a subscription to OPM I will post her name as soon as I know it provided nobody else has posted her name first.
 
i really dont give a damn about the name of the people. but if its gonna be lightning or Natch i think lightning is better. i mean Natch to me sounds stupied......sigh anyway if the person your talking about was the woman in the three pic in the link at the top then......i kinda find i hince of yuna in it........but meh
 
Yuna was very frail and usually scared to fight , Natch/lightening is supposed to be a more masculine and strong character in the game not even thinking twice before she goes in and kicks ass .
I dont know lightening to me is the prime equivalent of running out of names .
