Don't even mention LOCP, it doesn't even matter if you're a good poster or not, there are several people (Seminal Emerald, President Rufus, etc.) that will flame you and twist your words around just for that fact.

Of course, this begs the question of why there's a link to this place on LOCP.
I'm guessing it's something along the lines of a thread bitching about this place, with a bunch of people inflating their own ego under the deluded belief that they're 1) being annoying, and 2) have a point.

The fact that you adamantly deny threatening Edman with a lawsuit when we have your recent username and IP address along with the thread archived on our website is enough for me to believe you are a very miserable person. I've been there for over a year now and I've never lied about anything I've done there. Parks, welcome. If you read the rules an comply with them, then you should be fine. Just to avoid controversy, don't mention LOCP at all, ANYONE, therefore halting the option entirely to go down that road.

It's probably not necessary to discuss LOCP now, since the last few people from LOCP have been causing drama on this forum.

I don't judge a book by it's cover. I don't find much solution in telling people not to discuss LOCP period but you don't take action when someone makes a negative comment about it. Then because I am from LOCP you assume I am here to cause trouble.

In other words, there has been a few people here from LOCP and they've caused a lot of troule. People can be sterotypical and judge you just because that's where you're from. It's just better to say you're new to the site, OK?

I'm not making any judgments on you, because I already know who you are. You've had quite a history with ACF, haven't you?
However, just by mentioning LOCP, other members may have a particular bias about you. I'm not saying this because I hate LOCP, but I'm saying this just so that you know.

It's true. Sure, you're an individual, so there's the possibility you could be different. But because of the drama that's been caused by other LOCPers, you've already been given a bad reputation. Why not prove everyone wrong, by both NOT mentioning LOCP (On your own OR in response) and by not falling into the trap of flame wars?
It shouldn't. But everything you say could just as well be what biases other people's thoughts because of what they think of it. And that's something beyond my or your control.
