We all dream of becoming heroes. We all dream of having powers that develop and make us the people that we are destined to become. Many will find their powers useful, possibly using them for the greater good. Others can become corrupted by the power in front of them. A small group of individuals are about to discover that they are unlike the majority of people in the world, the fact that they are superhuman individuals that wield superpowers. Whatever they decide to do with their power is up to them alone. However, it is them alone that decide the fate of the world ...

Rules

 • No godmodding or powerplaying.
 • Don't have more than three powers.
 • No killing without negotiation/permission.
 • Post at least one paragraph containing five sentences.
 • No more than three powers, unless you have empathic mimicry like Peter.
 • Try to connect your powers to each other. In other words, relate them!
 • Have "Save the cheerleader, save the world!" above your template.
 • Have fun with this, but don't go overboard!

I thought about it and I'm gonna join :monster: However I am going to take the role of bad guy if that's okay with you :D Also wouldn't Intuitive Aptitude count as an ability that allows you to gain more?

Not that crap again... *sighs*

Save the Cheerleader! Save the world!

Name: Leon Temaru

Age: Unknown to all but himself but is approximately 1000 years old.

Gender: Male

Powers: Intuitive Aptitude.

Powers he has gained: Age Shifting, Pyrokinesis, All-Sight, Electrokinesis.

Race: Unknown but is rumoured to have come from England

Personality: Cold and uncaring, Leon has been known to kill even children to gain what he needs. He does not anger easily but once he is stirred he will fight until all who stand in his way are decimated. Most people's first impression of him is fearful as the unnerving chill he gives out often makes people walk away in fear. He prefers to only kill if it benefits him. However he can show kindness, is this a sign that he can be brought to the side of good?

Appearance: Leon is tall, peaking out at approximately 6"2, he is very light and his skin is quite pale. He is muscular and toned and his eyes seem to have a very slight red tint to them. He has medium length black hair which is very slightly spiky and covers the top half of his eyes. Over the years he has only very slightly changed the way he wears his clothes, he usually wears a long, black, leather trench coat over a white shirt with black jeans and trainers. He appears to be around 22-26 years old.

History: Around one thousand years ago, Leon Temaru was born along with his twin sister. It was obvious that as soon as the pair were born they were different. Leon seemed to understand everything around him and grew normally whilst the rate at which his sister grew changed dramatically. On the eve of Leon and his sister's 16th birthday, a thirst overcame him. He snuck into his sister's room in the old, wooden manor in the English countryside and killed her, absorbing her ability, the ability to control the user's age. His family disowned him and in his rage, murdered them all easily. He was chased for years by those who thought him a monster, which he was, even in his own eyes he was a monster.

Finally, after an entire century passed and he was thought to be dead, he resurfaced, only to fall in love with someone with an ability. Driven by the madness within his mind, he took her ability for himself, the ability to control lightning. Before he killed her however, he brought a child into the world through her. He does not know whether the child lived on and brought his own family into the world. It wa then that he could no longer control his hunger, using his power he killed in order to gain more powers, however, after 500 years he only ever managed to gain one more, the ability to control fire. Because of the huge amount of time it took to gain this one power he isolated himself, waiting for the time that powers would flourish and he would once again be able to gain as many powers as he wished to.

And now, that time has come. He will travel the world once more and take the powers that truly belong to him. The chosen one. Driven mad by his self-imposed isolation, he will do anything to gain what he wants.

Hope that's okay for ya Faithy :)

Save the cheerleader, save the world!

Name
Lois Evans

Age
19

Gender
Female

Power(s)
Empathic Mimicry

Abilities gained:

Race
English

Personality
Living up to the meaning of her name, Lois is a naturally born warrior. She will fight for what she believes in and help those who are too weak to defend themselves. This has been a trait that has followed since her early childhood. Aside from that, she is usually sarcastic, honest and usually tends to focus on the reality side of life.

Her good nature, on the other hand, can take her away from reality and make her vulnerable - but this happens very rarely since she doesn't want to appear as defenceless as possible. Lois is also said to have a charasmatic charm, a trait passed on from her father - and this most likely converted into her anomalistic ability of empathic mimicry, which enables her to absorb abilities all around her.

Appearance
901.jpg

Bio
Apparently, Lois wasn't even planned to arrive in the world. Her mother, Amber, didn't want children because she was afraid that she wouldn't be a good parent. On the other hand, her father, Kyle, knew that they'd be good parents. So when Lois was born, his vision did come true. Lois' childhood was a peaceful one with no siblings to deal with and little trouble - she was only annoyed by the fact that her dad had to keep leaving at random times for "business trips" that were in the States. Nonetheless, this left her to have a close relationship with Amber. It is highly likely that this is the reason why she wasn't as close to him as her mother.

When Lois was a teenager, she decided that she wanted to be a nurse and possibly - if she could do so - proceed to being a doctor. It had been her dream to help the public in some way because of the worldwide incidents she'd been exposed to since she was a child. On the other hand, she didn't have the grades necessary to enter the profession. So that left her to do her other new passion, journalism. Lois had become an avid reader of several newspapers and felt that the public ought to know the truth about certain things ... such as many strange, unexplained accidents in America. Around the same time, her father died - which saddened Amber. But Lois didn't know how she felt.

Her passion for journalism earned her a scholarship at a top university near her, so she didn't have to leave home. However, she has to keep an eye on her mother because her behaviour has been slightly odd ever after her father died. Currently, Lois has a boyfriend named Casey, who has also been helping out with Amber. They have been going out with each other since their prom that occurred after they both finished secondary school and finished their exams - totalling their relationship at over two years.

Since entering university, Lois has become aware that a lot of mysterious disappearances and incidents have happened to several of the students, leading her to personally investigate herself. However, what Lois doesn't know is the fact that her parents aren't as perfect as they claim to be and she's much more special than she thought.

"Save the cheerleader, save the world!"

Name: Helamune Temahari "The Sparrow" (Hel-a-moo-ne-i Te-ma-ha-ri)

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Power(s): Superhuman reflexes, Aerokinesis , Invulnerability

Race: An Eurasian mix of British and Japanese

Personality: Being an avid fan of anime and manga, Helamune always fantasised herself as a hero saving the world. Since she could not actually do that, she reflects her desire into her personality, being rather righteous, but not to the point of being unbearable.

Her shortcoming is that she is rather stubborn and headstrong. She would not allow someone to walk all over her and would stand up to them for her belief. An admirable trait, for sure, but it often winds her in trouble. Generally, Helamune is rather fun going, happy go lucky and a teaser. Her spirit is free and wild, not willing to be tied down. Her personality mixed with her cute and babyish face makes her easily loveable.

Appearance:
normal_6794657980980657980569807.jpg

Bio: Helamune was born a princess, not literally, but in terms of being treated. Her family held immense fortune, in which her parents did not spare in order to make their little daughter happy. However, she, being a more free spirit, enjoyed the vast grounds and roaming instead of being pampered. Throughout her schooling years, as a result of her unbelievable antics such as making ridiculous jumps and seemingly fly along with her size, "The Sparrow" became her nickname. This was also her first experience with her Aerokinesis ability.

As she grew up, her goal was to join the law enforcement, influenced by her heroes in the manga and anime she reads. Whilst studying to reach her dreams, Helamune always tried to help those in need to her best of abilities, although most of them were rather petty and hardly counted as fighting for justice. During one particular incident,

Helamune met with her first real encounter with crime where she found a mugger robbing from a friend in her grade. Dropping down from the second floor, she confronted the man whilst her classmate fled. Unlike her other incidents, the man fought back at her interruption and launched attacks at her. The first punch landed on her chest with enough force to have broken her rib. However, besides a sharp pain, Helamune was fine otherwise. Her mind went overdrive and all his attempts at hitting her slowed down to a crawl. What had happened later blurred, but she had left the man beaten and moaning on the floor. Still in amazement with what had happened and how she managed, Helamune began wondering what has become of her before she realised that with this new but mysterious power, maybe becoming like her cartoon heroes wasn't so unreal after all.

''Save the cheerleader, save the world!''

Name: James Black

Age: 45 ( But looks like 17 due to an illusion)

Gender: Male

Power(s): Entire Imperceptibility
/ Hypoperceptibility/ Illusion

Race: English

Personality: He is a lone wolf. He doesn't like to chat and communicate with others for most time and avoids being detected by anyone. Tho, he has few friends and with them he does communicate and also helps them a lot. Because of that, he may be quite good-heart guy.

Appearance: His true form is a middle-aged British man. His weight and height are medium and he has gray hair. His face is quite cold looking and his gaze seems to be empty for most of the time. But mostly, he moves around as a 17 year boy. He has then blond medium length hair, a quite positive looking faze and a quite empty gaze. He has blue eyes and is medium length, weight. His skin is also white.

Bio: He was born in to a rich family in England. Both his parents were super humans with great influence on the world, so when he was younger he got a lot of contacts everywhere. He studied in the top notch schools but besides the school-life, he worked for different companies as he was able to avoid getting caught. Soon, at age of 23, he joined a company which seemed to know a lot about the super humans. He worked for them and raised to the top ranks. Soon, he was the leader of that company but found out that even more powerful people control them. Til the age of 30, he had a huge overview of the hidden world. He knew almost everything about everyone. Getting that data was only possible thanks to his ability to create illusions and avoid being spotted. Then, his mother was murdered by assassins. He found out that it had been ordered by his own company, so he quit it. In a mere year, he was able to destroy the system he had created. The company was destroyed and with it, he got thousands of enemies. From that point on, he has been hiding, never letting his guard down. Now, he is helping many young people with powers as he knows that different companies try to use them for their own good. Also, his powers in terms of illusions and hiding are over any known level, as he has used them for so long and always tries to invent something new.

Hope I may join :)

“Save the Cheerleader, Save the World!”

+ Name:: Takahashi *Frost* Amaya (Amaya Takahashi in Western terms. Frost is a nickname)

+ Age:: 18

+ Gender:: Female

+ Powers::
~ + Cryokinesis(This would also lead to ice blasts, wouldn't it? =\)
~ + Quintessence Emanation
~ + Elemental Teleportation (Cryoportation)
[Knows she has Cryokinesis but is currently unaware of the other two]

+ Race/Nationality:: Japanese

+ Personality:: Amaya has a very natural sort of appeal. Although she is fiercely opinionated, those who disagree with her can usually see where she is coming from, and thus, more often than not, a certain amount of respect is engendered – on both sides. She is very responsible in her statements about the world and seems to uphold traditionally conservative values; indeed, she often represents the common man’s viewpoint. Her impulsive nature can often place her in dangerous predicaments.

The strong desire that Amaya houses to be free to act on her own is usually freely accepted. Somehow, this impulsive nature often leads to enhance her popular appeal. Although she has difficulty expressing her emotions outwardly, Takahashi has a very warm heart. She sometimes views herself as a champion for the underdogs, always fighting for those less fortunate.

Responsibility is a fixation for her – strangely though, she demands it of other, but has been known to fall short of it herself. It is this struggle to be responsible – somewhat undermined by her impulsive side at times – that demands a good part of her energy in life. Amaya often feels a great remorse and guilt when she fails to live up to her own high expectations.

Takahashi Amaya has a somewhat serious and guarded outlook. Being happy, in a permanent sense, is not really possible for her, since strife and conflict figure so prominently in her outlook and day to day life. Yet, in a larger sense, Frost can be very fatalistic. Having tried every avenue of problem-solving or trying to make the best of it, Amaya can serenely accept the inevitable, secure in the knowledge that she has done the very best she can.

+ Appearance::

24pf2wy.jpg

I could have written an appearance but I'm tired >_>

+ Bio:: Born in a more secluded part of Tokyo, Japan, Amaya learnt very early in life that if you really want something, you must stand up and fight for it. With an older brother, she felt extremely protected for the first few years of her life, acting like any other toddler would. Little did she realize back then that later in life, her potential and true heritage would begin to surface.

Up until the age of seven, she was as happy as she could be. But then the move to England came and with it, Amaya’s childhood innocence evaporated. Whilst in Japan, she had felt like she was home. Everyone spoke the same language, her extended family were always around and she was doted upon. that is not to say she was a pampered little princess, far from it, but her mother and father always did whatever they could to keep her childhood as happy as theirs had once been.

England, however, was different. Nobody could understand her and when she started school, she had no friends. And so the shielded Amaya appeared. A constantly uncaring expression upon her face, she would continue her childhood, forever fearing the nasty comments of the other children and the scathing looks she would sometimes catch.

It took her five years (aged twelve) to truly grasp the English language and much to her surprise, a whole new world opened up before her. She was a grade A student and whilst not amongst the most popular girls in her school, she was well-liked for her smarts as well as her looks. Though her guarded approach meant that no-one ever made it past her tough-girl exterior to get to know the real her and it was around this time that the nickname “Frost” came about.

Takahashi didn’t care. She didn’t really need friends so long as she continued to get good grades to continue onto university, Amaya wasn’t bothered. Or was she? There was always a small part of her that wondered what it would be like to have a true, close friend. But she was too frightened to ever allow someone past her barriers. This outlook proceeded to worsen when in the middle of a rather heated and physical contest with another girl, her cyrokinesis first showed itself. After taking a firm grip of the other girl’s wrist, adrenaline had rushed through her, her hand getting colder and colder unbeknownst to her. It wasn’t until the girl cried out and jerked her arm roughly away that Amaya noticed her skin had turned blue.

She had no idea just how she had managed it, but this new found power terrified Amaya. Was something wrong with her?

It was this event that leads her to where she is now. Amaya is searching, looking for the key to unlock the mystery of herself. What is this power? What should she do with it?

+ Theme Song:: Meaning of Life - Disturbed

Age: 26 (But in reality his has more than 3800 b.c.)
Gender: Male
Power(s):
Prophecy
Longevity
Disintegration
Race: Babilonian (Comes directly from a dinasty of Babilonians)
Personality: He is a man of few words. He prefers living in peace rather than go around killing aimlessly. He 'knows' where other like him are and yet, he does nothing untill danger is around.

Appearance:

Bio: Mark was born in a medium family. His father was a merchant as his mother. After his birth, his eyes weren't as normal as one's may be because, the pupil was white. The doctors figured he was blind but, after a couple of years they turned to be wrong. Those eyes were the beggining of his fame as "The Prophet".

At the age of 19, he gained his abillity of desintegrate matter in a blink of an eye. He adapted it to his own needs and necessities. Not long he was known as a monster. Due to the townfolk anger, Mark's parents tempted him to leave the town he was born in.

A few minutes later, he watched his own house being burned down by the townfolk. In that moment, Mark's rage began to appear and he desintegrated a whole tree near him, with one finger. Mark was sad, full of rage but, even so, he didn't harm the townfolks for he was diferent from them.

His Logetivity ability appeared at his 26. From that moment forward, he was unable to die or age. Only his soul was begging to getting wiser and older. From that day, he opened his own prophecy barrack and waitted for his day.

okay, thats the time thing done, but i stand by that the babylonians did not invent printing, or even if printing was even available, thus a journalist seem like an unlikely job as then every single page would be hand written. Btw, Faith, i finished my profile
