999 Abysteel... that's basically slightly harder than the Negalmuur thing, just set up gambits and move 2 zones. I've just hit 400 from the Shambling Corpses in Zertinan Caverns, and have 99 Platinum Daggers, Bloodstained Necklaces, and Dark Crystals. Kinda fun to smash theiir body parts down a sandfall.

500...and somehting, once I got lost in the part of the Great Crystal where there's nothing but Necromancers I think they were...nothing but frigging ghosts and they came out a lot too x.x;;

I got about 300 chaining strikers right before old archades because they are in a big circle and have about 30 at a time and they only have like 5000 health and for max chain they drop the occasional kagenui and lots of festering flesh about 120k gil per 150 chain which helps at levels below 40 for equip and spells.
Around 300 Necrophobes.
I did that in the Great Crystal to get the rare monster Larva Eater to spawn. He is the only monster that drops the best dagger - Danjuro and ya gotta get at least 256 kills in a chain before he will even spawn.
I was very lucky enough to get the Danjuro off him on my very first try since the drop rate for it is like only 5% max at the highest chain level. XD

I never cared. At all... I got maybe 75 in Lhusu Mines, other than that, proabably a lot on Negalmuur as I had gambits on and set it to weakest first. So my characters wailed on the skeletons for awhile.

Last time I remember my highest thread was something over 150+ I was in the Westersand I think. The one with the little humanoid guys. and the oil platforms. Killing them and ignoring the tomatoes. in order to do it you need to turn off your auto targets on all characters. and individually attack them. its great exp. and drops as well. You should be able to 1 hit them to do this or it will take you forever.

I did, too! I found this cheat thing, and let my entire party run on auto-pilot! I got so much gil! And I did NOTHING--just sat in my bed and watched anime.

I beleave its the safest chain to do. because they can't possibly kill you.

The highest I had was in the Henne Mines. I believe it was somewhere from high 100's to low 200's. I enjoyed it, it was during training my characters and I was trying to see how high I could get.

woot 459 on the leviathan (i was seriously under leveled at that part so I chained my ass off for a few hours). That was an epic two hours of chaining against the imperials, I think I killed all the guards on the leviathan lol.
I have negalmuur running atm, currently at about 180 
But non-negalmuur, i can chain ~140 jellies @ Henne Mines before I have 99 phials of Yellow Liquid in my inv. then i teleport back to rabanestre to sell them for 52000 Gil <3333

On those Urutan-yensa's in that oil-station sandsea(can't remember the name...), just because it's the only enemy there UNTIL you accidentally have balthier's clumsy gambits to start shooting at a Cocatrice

999 on the bats in Henne Mines. It got me from 61 to 86. Without that, The highest is 203 on the mirror Bird things in Feywood.
