I recently enrolled in home school. I was sick of all the drug deals, fights, and racism at my school. Has anyone been in hs before? If so, I'm curious as to how it went. Personally, I'm excited. I'll miss all the cute girls at public school though. =[

Despite all of the immature complaining that people, such as myself, come up with, I'd never want to be home-schooled. I would miss out on so much - random banter with the friends, relationships, hysterical-and-uncontrolable laughter and not to mention just growing up normally.

I'm not trying to insinuate that school doesn't have disadvantages, or that home schooling has no advantages, but it's just something that I wouldn't like to be part of.

If your school was as bad as you say, then the Government seriously needs to step in and either:-
a) Close the school
b) Take a look at why the teachers are failing
c) Have a massive revolution.

School is not a place for anything that you've mentioned. It's saddening to think that it's developed into that.

Haha. Its sophomore year. I know everyone at the school, and everyone knows me. I won't be missing anything important. And of course I'm going to keep close contact with everyone that matters to me.

honestly ... best of luck with that...i was basically court ordered to home school last half of my senior year because my dad was arrested and i was ordered to move....you miss a lot.....i hated it and am still quite upset at what it did to me...(theres a story there but most ppl probably would find it a bit complainey)

as far as the dealing and such...it was bad at my school...one of my gfs was jumped over a rejection...put her in the hosp for 2 months...thanks to me the guy who did it is still it counseling and i never even had to touch him
oh and i was assumed to be a gang leader because a few friends and i started protecting ppl because there was a ms88 splinter squad thing causing some of my friends trouble..(i.e.stopping a cheerleaders car and holding her bf at gunpoint til he handed over his wallet)...by the time i got it all fixed...there was allegedly a 50 k bounty on my head

but hey it added a challenge...made life interesting...and ill never forget the ppl...the dances the parties...the faces and such
