We all know that Yuna is already the representative for the summoner and Kain is the FF IV representative for Dissidia Duodecim but I really hope they'd put Rydia in Dissidia... I know for sure she's been one of the most favored females in the whole final fantasy series. Making her as popular as Lightning, Aerith, Yuna, Garnet, Tifa, etc. Tell me what you think! :D
 
Hell yeah i'd love that, she was one of the only ff4 characters who i liked (apart from Edward and Yang and maybe edge) anyway she would be immense in that she could also use black magic to attack.

she won't be in it.... if they pick new characters for a thrid dissidia... rydia wouldn't be picked cuz she will just play to much like either terra or yuna... i would love to see her in it but it highly unlikely :hmph:
 
I love Rydia. She's completely awesome. But I would rather have Garnet. :XD: Final Fantasy 9 got no new character for 012, and FF4 got Kain Highwind. If Rydia got in, I would be happy, but I would be also upset, because a beautiful Final Fantasy got ignored by Square Enix, not once, but twice. :sadpanda:
 
I agree that she would be unlikely to be put there as a playable character. I at least hope she'd be put as an assist character like Aerith. :)
But I have to say that their probably having new characters for FF VI, IX, XII and XIII! :D
 
yes, more female chars are always welcome. esp. with her outfit. d'oh ho ho ho ho
 
I also hope they'd put new FF VI characters (Locke, Edgar or Celes)... FF IX too (Garnet, Vivi)...
Those 2 games MUST have a new character... they've been ignored TWICE.
 
To be honest, I'd rather have some representatives of other core FF concepts come in over Rydia. Let's see a throwing weapon artist like Shadow or Edge and a gambling Slot-and-Coin man like Setzer or Cait Sith in the game before we retread concepts.
To wit:
A decent Red Mage.
Blue Magic - vanilla flavour or Quina, take your pick.
Relm - the Bartz of the villains, I imagine.
Throw artist - see above
Gambler - also, see above.
Dedicated White Mage - Let's see how well Rosa or Eiko can play keep-away.

Once I see at least three of those, I'll be on the sidelines cheering for Rydia. Before that... not so much.
 
Rather not see another mage user.. I rather see Edgar (FFVI) Sabin (FFVI) Setzer (FFVI) Ramza (FFT) Delita (FFT) many others before Rydia actually.
