How did you first react to Yuna?

I thought: ":sad2: I want my Rikku back!"

And then she summoned! Summoning ftw :D When she summoned Valefor, I knew she'd be pretty damn awesome <3 I was more used to anyone being able to summon, so this made her special. (Had only played FFVII and FFVIII.) I hoped for her to NOT end up with Tidus, but alas, Square is extremely unimaginative when it comes to pairings >.>

I thought she was just another summoner with a unique mission.I did not think i would grow to actually cheer her on and actually use her in battle.she was not that bad of a person. She had some nice beliefs and a good heart

I didn't like her. Didn't like her design, her voice, her script, her beliefs, her ideals. Amazingly, later on in the game. I really started to like that Bish haha

The first things that struck me when she stumbled out Valefor's chamber of fayth was frailty, perhaps even naivete.

Maybe naive isn't the word looking for, I guess inexperienced would sum it up. She just kind of stumbled out and said "I've done it. I've become a summoner!"
It almost seemed like she was surprised that she pulled it off.

She kind of seemed like she was weak and had to rely on Wakka, Lulu, and Kimahri for support.

So as a personal reaction... Well I was just interested in how that would change throughout the game.

I thought she was rubbish. I felt some of the lines she comes out with were just atrocious. Earlier in the game, she is depicted as a helpless little girl, and realistically, someone like that just wouldn't undertake a lengthy pilgrimmage. Of the playable characters, I felt she had the weakest voice actress too, and that struck me fairly early.

I didn't even take to the Aeons all that well. I was somehow under the impression I had to use them sparingly, and as a result, Yuna fell behind, so I used her even less. I absolutely hated her at first.

I actually thought Yuna was pretty boring at first. I didn't think she was a bad character, though. I thought,
"She's sweet and honorable. I envy that"

As the story went on however, she really captured my heart. She stood up for her friends and placed others before herself. Not to mention her loyalty to those she trusted, and her unwavering bravery and honesty. She's really an admirable character, and I can't understand why anyone would ever dislike her.

I wasn't sure what to think of her tbh, the way she stumbled out of the chamber of the fayth and siad Ive done it, ive become a summoner or w/e it is she says just made me think...ugh, who's this bint now?

I've still not gotten over her voice, but I can't really blame her for that one, she was given a poor voice actor xD

I guess I just felt impartial to her, I neither liked nor disliked her, well, I leant more towards dislike I guess, there was just something about her (still is actually) that irks me, and it's not just her VA xDDD

I also hate her skirt, Ive never gotten over that shade of purple, I just don't like it xD

I saw many pictures of her FFX-2 version and thought the she is really hot.
But then, when playing FFX, I was disappointed and didn't really like her.
I didn't find anything special about her, and I hated that there is a delay each time she says something during a cut-scene (even though that is the game's problem).
I did , though, liked her different colored eyes. I like outstanding and irregular things :). While I didn't hate her, I didn't like her much either.

Meh. I didn't really have an opinion. She seemed kind of... boring? And that's how she remained to me. Yeah, she was a sweet, nice, and even cute character, but I just was kind of like, "Meh." Dx

Now, Rikku on the other hand... :awesome:

I thought she was quite attractive, but very fragile, weak even. I didn't think she would be a good heroine because that. As the story went on though, she turned into quite a powerful character, on and off the field of battle. I guess I shouldn't judge on appearances.

When i first saw yuna i was like "Whoa, she's hawt :O"

I only used her for her healing power and her summons. THat what made her amazingly awesome to use was because she demolished everyone with aeons :P

I've always liked yuna. I think it has something to do with how she is so calm and sweet yet has all this power but doesn't go power mad. She's very down to earth and not what i would expect.

At first I thought, "Oh my GOD! Look at how good her character design is!". This was my immediate reaction to her first cutscene. Following that, I began to dislike her. I don't think it was her character that I disliked as much as her voice actor though. For those who have played the game "Tales of Symphonia" I'm sure you recall the character Collette. Oh how annoying Collette's voice was! Well, I played FFX after I finished ToS so Yuna was just another Collette in my mind and it was pretty hard to shake.

Like a few of you have mentioned, first I thought it was another damsel in distress like Rinoa/Dagger, but in a yukata.

But then she opened her mouth and started talking. That's when it all went to hell.

Am I the only one extremely bothered by her voice acting? She sounds like she has down syndrome and a respiratory problem. But it was cool how she drove the plot. It was HER pilgrimage, HER sacrifice, etc.

As a character... Useless in battle, Aeons play like a second-rate pokemon match. I'd rather heal from Rikku's stolen items. :X

My first impression of Yuna is that I thought she tried too hard to please too many people. She seemed weak at first, when she needed help up in the Trials. I thought that she would have not been worth the time to make her strong, but I was wrong. At first sight I knew she would be one of the main characters in the story and I knew that something was going to happen between Tidus and her.

Yuna... yeah, she is special (Loved her two colors eyes) of course that's not why Tidus choose her ;d She has a great personallity and she's learning a lot of things from her companions and also Tidus. I kinda like Rikku, cause she is ... hot you know ;)
