How good are you with your money?

Never had any job yet, so I've never really had much money, most of my life I have no money at all, like now, and never any amount one would consider worth investing. >.>

If I get any money, like a $20 bill in a card or something, I put it aside until I at least have enough to buy myself a new game or something, so I don't have to wait until my birthday or Christmas to get a new game to enjoy playing (though I think that I will be able to get Pokémon SoulSilver Version shortly after it's release in Spring (March 14th, I think is it's release date)).

I think I'm quite good with money. I transfer most money to my savings account and leave enough money on my normal account to pay the bills and to do something fun in the weekends/buy something (plus about 100 euro extra for unexpected payments, kinda like a buffer zone) and this works quite well for me. Even when I only worked in the weekend this way of banking left me with enough cash to buy a new book or cd every now and then.

I'm not good with money at all. Luckily for me, the vast majority of my money is in saving accounts and I can't touch it at all for another few years. I have a twenty pound a week limit and most of the time, I end up spending it >_>

Like yesterday, I wanted a new set of headphones, so I got out a tenner, went into Tesco, found the nearest pair, bought them for a fiver, threw away the receipt, and then found out they're the awful ones on a necklace string thingie. I felt so silly.

It's the same with birthdays and Christmas. I end up spending all the money I get almost instantly >_> I can't save at all. I ended up spending £100 of Christmas money on ebay in half an hour. And then spent a further £40 I didn't have. Whoops. >_>

I think I'm going to have to have an accountant when I'm older. I can't be trusted to look after my own money xD

I'm awful with money - I see something I like the look of, even in passing, and the odds are I'll buy it there and then or stew on it for a couple of days and then go back and get it. XD;

However, I AM on a £100 budget this year...or a three game a month maximum, since I buy little else with my money. I've improved a little, I think. I transfer the majority of my money to my savings account instantly, and I can only get money out of that via card. The card stays at home, save for when I need to get money out for expenses (i.e. train season ticket) and rent for mother, as well as budget, which is once a month. Its under control, but I still go a little overboard at times...

As my gran says "Money burns a hole in your pocket!" It sure does!! I cant control myself when I have cash, Im terrible! I buy stuff that deep down I know I dont need, but I must have them. Kinda like a squirrel with nuts, gather stuff that I dont want other people to get rofl XD

Not good, not bad. I like to spend my money but i know i need to save it for more important things then weed, and such. Hopefully I'll learn to manage it better when i actually have a steady income. Maybe not. But shit happens. The sun always shines on another day.

I used to spend money constantly, i don't now though. I only spend it on necessities such as food and clothing. When it comes to games i do research on them before making my decision on whether to buy them or not.

I'm extremely good with money, but some time ago, I got quite a large sum of money and have been spending it on useless items. I think I've retained my ability to spend money now.

I am drop dead horrible with money :sad3:

I get money, and then suddenly, it is as though every game in the store window is a mountain of awesomeness I have to buy. I tend to waste 9/10 of my money on games as soon as I get it. It is a very bad habit, going so far as to neglect cutting my hair for games. I need help :sad3:

I am hopeless with money. I have a part time job and I get £30 in EMA every week just for going to school.
Normally at the end of the month there is about £20 of the 300 - 400 that i recieve in my account...

I'm only 16, so money isn't that big of a deal most of the time. My mom gives me $40 a month. It isn't much, but that usually turns to $80 depending if I help around more often.

I'm actually planning on going to work soon, to finally buy myself a PlayStation 3 and Final Fantasy XIII. I'm gonna keep working even after I have enough money ($100+ in 8 hours a day, 2 days a week). I want many things like a Ludwig Pinnacle drum set and an HDTV.

When I have money, I use it. Usually buying 1 DS game a month, and when no DS games come out, I save and buy 2 the next or whenever a good RPG comes out (I just bought Sands of Destruction and have some more money leftover to buy Glory of Hercules).

For cloths and stuff, my parents buy that, so yeah =/

Im pretty good with money. I splurge every once in a while, but I make sure I always come out to a certain amount of money.

I also only use credit cards when I have the money to pay it off right away, which is always since Im good at saving my money up from work. So I have decent credit as well.

I'm okay I guess. 2009 was a tough year for me economically, but I still have a roof over my head and money for this year's tuition fees, so it's not all bad. The one flaw I do have, is that whenever I have a little bit of extra cash and decide that I can afford to live a little, I usually end up spending a bit more than I probably should have :wacky:

*sigh* At the moment I've been terrible with saving anything really.

But that's only because all my bills have come at once and I am determined to get them all out of the way before my holidays in February.

So each week so far I have not been saving that much at all.

After February though I won't have any major bills again for at least another three months, so I'll be able to save a great deal.

It's really hard sometimes to save when you always have rent and car expenses etc. >.<

I am getting far worse lately before Christmas i had a big win in the bookies so Christmas was easy going in terms of money... no it's equalling itself out lost near enough all my pay in the bookies there are somedays in the bookies were you have a think about what your going to do placepot/back one horse big/each way outsider/ and i usually win thinking like that.. but lately i have been having those days where i just put anything in the roulette machine i think this week am going to stick to ladbrokes online they give you better odds there and you ain't got the roulette machine to tempt you :gonk:

Its gone as soon as i get it basically. If im not paying out debts il go and waste it down the pub on a saturday. Haha i never have anything to show for my money which is pretty crap but i enjpy what i do with it so i dont really care. Im not big on saving money, the only time i do is if im going on holiday or have something big planned but i admit it'd be nice to have some savings put away somewhere. When im fully qualified in november i intend to save more money as next year i wanna go and live somewhere else for a year or 2. So thatl require some funds to kickstart that.
