How long have you been a member?

Trust me, this site was made in 06.

I've been a member for 3 and a half years now. Joined April 07. I've had my ups and downs, met some really awesome members who I think will be lifetime friends. :)

Actually, I think I'll move this to Meeting Room, seeing as I think it's more appropriate for that area of the Gaia section.
 
I am suspicious of that date. I got a mass PM from Darkblade when I was still a member of the Nazi hole known as EoFF. There for a few months.... then eventually decided to join FFF.... I was definitely 14 at the time.... It must have been here for 5 years at most...

Eh, I've been studying too hard :(
 
Wasn't the site merged with another site before June 06? That's probably where you're getting the dates from. Mind you, I'm not positive about this either since I just heard a few things from older members. But I've seen older members (before DB was the site owner I think) come back here every so often, confirming what I've just stated.

And I was 19 when I started posting. So...4 years, almost 5.
 
There used to be another 'Final Fantasy Forums', whose members' accounts got transferred over to this site when it was created by DB. This would explain your timeline, DM.

July 2006 was my registration date, though I had known about this forum for a couple of months before actually joining.

I joined this site about 2 weeks after it was made in June 2006, so it's no more than 4.5 years old. As mentioned it did get merged with another forum but Darkblade wasn't an Admin of that one before the merger, so your DB timeline should still be the same as ours.

I joined when *I* was 14, about to turn 15. I'm now 18, turning 19 next week. There were about 20 posts altogether. This site is not 7 years old.
 
This site is just over four years old.

I joined in July 2006, a month after the site first opened. I was 16 years old going on 17 in the long summer holidays, having left school two months ago and going to college two months later. Geez, four years is a loooong time. :wacky:

Edit: Okay, it says 2007, but I'm quite sure I had joined a year or two before that under a different name and just kinda sort of never logged on. Then I forgot my password and my username (Bun), so I asked the admins to just delete that one and let me use Dee. So I've been here for maybe 4 years.
 
Been here almost 4 years, Jay brought this site up when I was being a horrible bastard nub at a couple of the sites he was staffing.

the funny thing is that he said it was worse here than his sites, maybe he just meant josh :awesome:
 
I've been a member of this forum for over a year now. I'm surprised that this forum has lasted that long. I've seen other forums last for a few years and then it end up dead. This is by far the best thread I ever seen.
 
I joined in January of 2007. I was 20 years old. It was back when Darkblade, Angelous/Sephiroth, and Garnet and soon Judge Rulia were admins. And right before all the drama broke out XD

I started becoming active about January 2007, but I made the account in November '06. I joined because at the time I was stuck on Final Fantasy IX and needed some help. Now you're lucky to even see me post in the FF section. :lew: My taste in games have definitely changed in 4 years. I was 16 when I made the account, and I'm 20 now.

Jesus Christ, I feel old even talking about this. :ffs:
 
Been here for a year in a half and started being active August/September of last year! My how quick time flies :O

Site opened in June 06, it wasn't older than that -__- I know because, I know when I joined...

Just over two years. :lew: It comes as a surprise on the rare occasions that I think about it. I usually join a forum, then leave it after a few months, six at most, so my staying here is a surprise, even to me, really. :wacky:

I only really became active in... maybe May 09, not long after Survivor, which I failed miserably at. :wacky: I started joining some RPs, making terrible spam threads, and it all branched off from there, to the point where I'm making RPs that never finish- and usually never start either. :8F: It's a good forum. :ryan: I've met some good friends on here and I hope to be here for a long time to come yet.
 
I've been here 7 months so far. June will be my one year anniversary. When I think about it, I'm quite a noob compared to most.
 
I joined sometime mid-March back in 2007. In a couple of months, I'll have been a member for four years. :reptar:
