I have no clue if those two count.

Yes, I have never beat VII-IX.

Although I am at the second disc in VIII, and the end of the first in VII.

And also, in my opinion, Final Fantasy III was the hardest. Because of the Crystal Palace/ World of Darkness thing.

This is an idiot's question, I am sure. But does Secret of Mana count? I thought it was a Final Fantasy game, but was never sure.

I have beaten every final fantasy up to IX I still need to beat X and Xii. I would say that I play too much Final Fantasy if I have beaten all those games. I just love good rpgs.
 
I'm not entirely sure why, but when i did Ultemacia's castle i found it more difficult than the final dungeon of any of the other games, it was impossible, but i eventually managed to complete it after like 3 weeks of trying non stop, and many many annoyed school teachers who ere missing homework.

Well i was stuck there too... and i'm really really bored to start over the game since i lost my save file...and with FFV and FFXII waiting to be beaten :P

So untill now FFIII apparently has been defeated the least of the other games and strangely(?) FFXII the most!

FFIII just didn't appeal to me ...
I don't know perhaps either FFI and FFII wouldn't appeal to me if i didn't had the Origins version on PSone...
 
I've only beaten one FF game so far: Final Fantasy VI. I guess then by default it's the hardest and the easiest? LOL

The hardest out of those, I'd say X-2.
Mainly because I hated the story, and all the characters, and to get 100% takes alot of effort and patience. That's the only game of FF I ever truly felt like it was a grind to play.

So yeah X-2 hardest.
Final Fantasy 8 Easiest. :)

The hardest I say is FFCC:Rings of Fate cuz the first go around is easy but then the second is like wow hard it was unexspected to me and i had to train quite a lot.

In order of the FF's i've beaten are;
Final Fantasy VII, IX, I(GBA), II(GBA), III (DS), X, Tactics, Tactics Advance, VII: DoC, and Tactics:War of the Lions.
Hardest one i think was II. I got stuck at one part and gave up and had to restart. I got stuck in a cave and couldn't find my way out -.-
 
I was torn between IX (in the sense that I've never felt inclined to fight my way through the game without taking advantage of the cheats hacked on to my disc upon purchase and have thus become too reliant on invincibility and infinite gil) and X (where I've never had the patience to grind so much to defeat the monster creations or the Dark Aeons) but I went for IX, anyway.
 
So far I have beaten FF 1 and 2 (GBA and PSP versions) 5 and 6 (ps1 versions) 7, 8, 10, X-2, 12 FFT(GBA, DS, PSP, and PS1 versions) Currently workin on 9.
As for the hardest of em none were too difficult but as in unbearable I'd give it to X-2 annoying music half the time annoying job system and that damned 100%.

I would say 7 was the hardest (mostly due to the final boss battle) and 8 was my favourite.

FF V was by far the hardest final fantasy to beat or me. maybe it was because i played it only last summer, and dealing with the low quality graphics was tough. but i think it was also because of how hard they made it. I remember just trying to get from place to place and dying at the hands of regular random encounter monsters. it was ridiculous. but i heard somewhere that they upped the difficulty in the anthology re-release. still a great game though. one of my favs.

The only FF I've beaten completely through is FFIX. Sad but true fact. I'm close in FFXII, but still not quite there yet. All the other FF games, I start, but then usually end up losing interest with them. I just cannot bring myself to finish them, no matter how hard I try. But yeah, FFIX is the only I beat completely through, and if it gets me any extra points, I've beaten it twice! XD
 
I have completed, in order, XII, XIII, X and XIII-2.

I am very nearly there with II, IV, VIII and IX! I am not sure I will ever complete II though. :lew: It's been years since I played it and I managed to get lost/stuck in a dungeon I was not ready for. :lew:

I completed X-2 with cheats. :lew: At the time, I just wanted to experience the full story. I didn't care about playing the game. When the HD version is released, I plan to replay X and play X-2 again, but properly! :lew:
 
FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX, FFX-2.

I'm never going to finish FFXIII-2 and I'm never gonna continue playing FFXIII.

FFIX is DEFINITELY the HARDEST FF I've ever played.
 
I've beaten all the main ones (not including 11 and 14). I've also beaten the three Tactics games and all the Crystal Chronicles so far. Also...Mystic Quest. I guess you could say I've beaten Theatrythm too, though not on the hardest difficulty. It's way too much :lew:. I can't actually think of what other games there are. I haven't beaten any of the mobile phone games though.

I think the toughest was probably FF2 or FF3. Level-grinding was the key to both (even if there were no levels in 2). Who needs strategy when you can just fight random encounters for hours and pile drive through the dungeons :wacky:.
 
Beaten each game in the main series, including X-2 and XIII-2. I found X to be the hardest. I could not defeat the final Aeon without the help of the Magus Sisters :-/ But I never really put much effort into FFX, I played through the main quest and couldn't be bothered to do anything else except get the extra Aeons and some of the Celestial Weapons.
