How Many Schools?

I went to a thing called Playgroup when I was very little. It wasn't really nursery, but I guess it was an equivalent. I was there for a year or two I think.

For real school, where I live we have the three tier system. So we have first school, middle school and high school (most of the country has primary and high school).

I went to one first School (four years here), two middle schools (three years at the first, one at the second - our school merged with another and the location moved to the school we merged with) and then one high school (3 years).

My sixth form was located at the same location as my high school, so I pretty much stayed there for ages. Three years for high school, and then two years for sixth form.

I'm at a university now. Not sure if I'd count that in with this, but I'll put it there anyway.

So overall that is 6 (if we count 'Playgroup' and University), but really only 4 as far as actual school itself is involved.

Let's see....

-Point Defiance Elementary for Kindergarten and 1st grade.

-St. Patrick for 3rd through 8th. Skipped second, which was part of the reason I changed schools. The public shool didn't want to let me skip, even though I took the 2nd grade test as a first grader and got 172/175 on it.

-Bellarmine Prep for high school (9th - 12th).

-Two years at Washington State University.

-A year and a half at Pueblo Community College (Colorado).

-Three years (plus a summer semester) at Elizabeth City State University, where I finally got my degree.

I traveled a bit during college. :hmmm: 3 schools, 3 universities, for a total of 6 schools.

I've been to five schools.

Preschool
Kindergarden (Elementary school didn't have a kindergarden)
Elementary School grades 1-8
High School
College

one for kindergarten and first grade, another for grades 2-5, one for grade 6, another for 7-8, yet another for 9-half of 11th. another for the second half of 11th, and another for 12, which i didn't finish until this January at yet another school. This brings the total to: 8.

And I haven't even started college yet D:

My pre-school that I went to was in Orem, Utah. My first elementary school was in Dayton, Ohio and I was there for K-4. Then I went to a private school for 5th grade year around Dayton. Then I moved to Whitefish, Montana and went back to a public school for my 6th grade year. Then I moved to Kalispell, Montana for my 7th grade year. Then I moved back to Dayton for my 2nd semester of my 7th grade year and stayed through my 8th grade and 1st semester of 9th grade year in high school. Then I went to a private school for my 2nd semester of my 9th grade year because my high school I went to sucked really bad and I almost lost all my credit. Then in the summer before my 10th grade year, we stayed in Slaughter, Louisiana for a couple months and almost lived there. Had we stayed I would've gone to Clinton High School, even though Northeast High School was actually closer, but due to the parish line I would've had to go to Clinton. We had some friends that would've given us an address in the East Baton Rouge Parish so that I could've gotten into Northeast but we didn't stay anyways. I ended up finishing up high school back in Ohio and graduating. Then I spent a little time in a community college in Dayton before leaving again. Then my last school I'm currently looking into getting is in Hammond, Louisiana called Southeasten University.

All in all I've been to about 7 different schools and about 2 different colleges totaling up to 9. It's confusing trying to remember them all.

Lets see. :hmmm:

I went to Windmill Annex II for K, Pre-1st and 1st grade.

I started another school for 2nd grade, which I don't remember the name of.

During 2nd grade, we moved to Warwick, then went to Cedar Hill Elementary for the rest of 2nd grade and through 6th.

Went to Winman Junior High for 7th and 8th grade.

Went to Toll Gate High School for 9th through 12th grade.

Attended CCRI (Community College of Rhode Island) for 1 year.

Finished the rest of my college at URI (University of Rhode Island), which was 4 years.

So the tally is 7 schools/colleges total, all in Rhode Island and I've finished with my Bachelors of Science degree. :ryan:

Iv'e been to four schools:

My first when I was 5-8 then I went to France so had to go to new school
My second 8-13
I moved again to my third 13-14 to get away from the American system and get ready for GCSEs
Back in Uk And my last school 14- ongoing where i had to board for a while but now i am free! :x3:

I started at preschool at 3 till I was 4.

When I was 5 I went to public school from grades kindergarten to 5th grade cause I transferred...

6th grade I went to a random school in my neighborhood.

7th grade I went to a public middle school but I kinda broke my straight A streak here and went a little wild.

8th grade I was put in a Catholic school where everything was conservative and I hated. My mom said It was a punishment for me not doing so good the prior year. I for one was tired of making new friends.

9th-12th- I'm at my highschool and will be going to a college nearby. I really want to transfer to a foreign college after my first or second year :hmmm:

Kindergarden
Primary

-after we moved-

2 Junior Houses (same thing as Primary, except I moved up a year :awesome:)
Senior house - Present

4 for me. :hmmm:

Preschool
K-3
(Move to Arizona)
4-5
6-8
9, and very soon 10.

So about 5 schools. I don't really move around much, which I am thankful for. More time spent with my friends instead of making brand new ones in the space of a few days. Major pain in the ass...

I don't know if I technically went to kindergarten. They were more like day care centers that I went to everyday because my parents had to work, I don't know if that's what a kindergarten actually is but that's what I went to. I went to two of those btw.

I went to 3 primary schools. The first one was closed down when I finished year 1. I started at my second primary school from year two until I finished. The third school was more of a temporary thing, my dad moved to the country so I went to school there when I went to stay with him for a few weeks.

I only went to one high school but I considered going to another one just for years 11 & 12. But I stuck with just the one.

and now I'm at uni. I've stuck with just the one so far.

My life in education thus far since nursery:

Primary school (Reception to Yr 6)
High school (Yr 7 to Yr 11)
Sixth Form (AS and A2 - we never called them Yr 12 and 13)

So that's...3.

It was pretty stable for me and when I did reach sixth form, it was awesome to see some of the people I knew from primary school and people from my high school in one place...sort of. When I left primary school and went into secondary school, no one else I knew followed me to my high school so at first that felt oddly horrifying and lonely at first. It was fortunate that I didn't move around much at all and went between different schools, as I can imagine the pain of having to leave an environment and the people you've just about grown attached to and known to be landed in a totally unknown environment, and repeat process.

Oh, and I could have stayed at my high school for the sixth form years, but we weren't willing to pay the sixth form fees (my scholarship only lasted from Years 7 to 11) and the new headmaster who resembled a sweaty tomato was kind of a dick.

Been to three different schools:

Kindergarden: Primary School

Pre-Primary -> Year 1: High School

Year 2 -> Year 6: Back to my old primary school

Year 7 -> Year 12: At a different High School

I've been to 8 different schools. I've lost plenty of friends, but that's all good. All of these schools were in the same state except for one. That one was across the country. My favorite was my second school I ever went to from K-3. Good times. :)

Kindergarden - Rommelt
1st-6th Grade - DuBoistown Elementary
7th-12th Grade - South Side High
College - Lycoming College
Air Force - Technical Training schools (one in Mississippi and one in Georgia)

So overall I've been to 6 from age 5 to age 23.

Uhm... 5....

Elementary - Plein
Elementary - Imelda
High School - Lucia Petrus
High School - Wellant College
College - Albeda College
