i am a really big ff7 fan so i hae played it...



...once...

i can explain. i just finished it about 6 years back and my friend, jealous that i was better than him, snapped my first disc. and so i couldnt play through again. however i have got a new copy for christmas so let the obsession commence!
 
I think that I completed it 'bout 3-4 times. Don't really member if that's the exact number but, I haven't played it recently so it sounds right to me xD.
First time was just like okay get through the game understand what's going on and what not.
The other times was like okay try and max out your characters make them badass get all the extra jazz, and the best weapons an' whatnot :monster:
 
Wow im a really big final fantasy 7 fan it is supposedly my favorite game..but the thing is i havn't beaten it once!! never never ever :[. I remember that last year i used my ff7 psone discs to play on my PC with an emulator and it was real easy to level up because i could change the speed of the game. I got up to the northern crater on disc 3 and i just got bored and never finished it. So right now i got ff7 for my psp; right now im on disc one but im hoping to finally beat it!!

I'm currently on my second play through, mainly because I bought it through the PSN store so it's the only chance I've had really. On the other hand, I've never had the urge to play FFVII through since the last time. I'm not really a huge fan of the game and I don't really like playing through RPGs more than once unless I really enjoyed them. :monster:
 
Haven't really kept track, too busy always following the story every time I play it to think about it, how many times I had seen each moment before. xD

But I'd say I've beaten the game about 4 times, maybe 5...? Absolutely love Final Fantasy VII, definitely worth all the time I have devoted to it, Crisis Core is awesome too. :awesome: Been through that about 4 times too. :wacky:
 
I beat it around 1 and a half times. The game is real long, so I got tired of it after a while. It was a great game and although I would not play it again, I would still recommend it ^_^
 
^ The game may be quite long, but it is worth multiple playthroughs, one forgets a lot of the events in the game after a while.

I see Zack in your avatar and sig, and Crisis Core FFVII on your sig, I do realize that game is considerably shorter to get through multiple times, so I'm just curious, have you played through Crisis Core more than once?
 
Just twice for me.
first time. Just got it completed as quick as possible
second time. Got all every one up to level 99 and mastered all materia
 
Honestly....only once. :sad3: And I got really damn lucky beating it too. I had just used Knights of the Round and was getting ready to do another 'round' and Sephy used Super Nova which killed my two characters leaving Cloud all alone. Luckily I had Phoenix downs in my top item spot and used them, and used Knights of the Round again and he was dead.

I have tried to beat the game a few times after that time and just failed miserably, I dont know if it was just my level or maybe it was the fact that I didn't have Knights of the Round. :wacky: I plan to beat it at least one more time, just gotta have the patience to do the the damn chocobo side quest again. :mokken:
 
I've been it two or three times... can't remember whether I completed it first time or whether I got up to the northern crater and just failed at the final battles.
Thing is though, I've never beaten the Ruby and Emerald weapons, never got KOTR (and even if I had it I'd never use it though, I hate summons that take ages and apparently that's one of them), so I'm planning on starting another game once my exams are over and playing for completion :D
 
Twice. Once as my first time around. Then another time when I completed the game 100%. I mean I've got everything! So yea, I beat it twice. Not counting the three times I've seen the game beaten.

I've actually finishedFF7.. once. I've started it many more times, and even gotten to the second disk... but I just get bored. I started again last night, but with the other things I have to do, I probably won't finish that for ages xD

I should probably finish this again.. I like the game just fine, it's just not my favorite... so I haven't played it through as many times as some others.
 
sorry .Rinoa,i guess i quit because i figured where it was going,the game took 40 hours of my life and i didnt even finish,why would i waste another 40,and then finish the ending,where its so obvious your gonna fight sephiroth,then some amped up form of sephiroth,then you get a cutscene,and the credits roll,so,that why i never bothered finishing it,i already know whats gonna happen
 
I have had about 10-12 savegames, about 5 of those were in a situation where I could saunter on up to the Northern Crater and teabag Sephiroth, but regrettably, I have only finished it twice.

I haven't every beaten Emerald and Ruby either, which is really embarrasing because FFVII is my favourite game of all time, and I go around calling myself a FFVII guru.
 
I've played this game millions of times and I honestly can't get bored of it. There's just so much you can do that it makes me want to play and play and play. I guess I really love it because it reminds me of my childhood when times were better lol

I could play the game, get lose in the story and never really worry about anything. It was great.

I've only finished it once. I lack any motivation to play it again to be honest. It's a good game but it's just too long and arduous for me to play multiple times through. The same can be said for most FF games really. I will probably replay VII at some point, but not anytime soon. The only FF game which I have played multiple times is FFX because its linearity makes it seem like a much shorter game. But even with FFX, I have only completed it once.
 
Think it was only the once. I was very young and it was with an ex. I was dissapointed with the final battle. But still a great bloody game. Im tempted to go and do it again for old times sake.
