I have completed this game only once but I am playing this game 2nd time. It continue since 2 week and I am sure it will be completed within 1-1/2 week.
 
I think its about 9 times now the last time was earlier this year on my PS3.
It was great that might sound sucky but l really enjoyed romping around with cloud and the gang chasing big ol'bad Sephiroth.
 
Ive played it countless times, but Id say only once or twice. After awhile, I kinda gave up cause I couldnt be bothered trying to level up to get further. I will try and get my current save finished one day XD
 
8 for me,
1st was just a playthrough, nothing special
2nd Was another, except got all limit breaks and ultimate weapons.
3rd Maxed all stats and got all to 99 in addiction to game 2, also got full materia set.
4th Killed Ruby and Emerald, Finally :P
5th Cloud solo(except for when he isnt in party)
6th Tifa Solo
7th Speed Run, 12hrs
8th (in progress) ultimate game attempt.
 
Once and only once it was the most dreadful thing I ever went through or put myself through, it was way too hard :gasp: I mean racng the golden chocobo was hard enough but beating the weapons was out of this world.

And getting Aeriths Parasol was hella hard :grumpy:
 
Only played it once. Bought it two weeks before I could expect FFXIII so didn't really have time to play it again. I only have to beat the strong guys (the weapons), the rest I've done but I'll try to do everything in my next try. ^^
 
I've yet to play Final Fantasy VII. I've heard it's the best in the entire series, but I don't think it will be... I want to play it, just can't find it anywhere in any shops and I'm not really into online shopping! I will play it on day and tell you how many times I complete it. :lew:
 
I've played this game about fifteen times, i'm in love with it. I think i could play this game blindfolded :wacky: the only game that i've played more than this is X. I only recently got a downloaded copy on my ps3, cause my ps1 broke:cry:
 
I've only completely played through the game once. It was just your average playthough that took 3-4 weeks. I tried Emerald Weapon (or whichever one is underwater) and got completely annihalated. I did manage to beat Sephiroth though. :)
I started a 2nd playthrough awhile ago. I named the characters some odd things.
My sister suggested something involving pizza, so I made Barret Papa John XD
I have to get back to that...
I wonder what crazy, probably insulting name I'll call Yuffie?
 
Just once for me. I'm the kinda player who wants to get everything on the first playthrough in case I don't have time to go back and go through it again later. So I've only went through and done it all once. Eventually I'll get around to going through it again, but not for a while.
 
I've beaten this game well over 20 times, easily over 20 lol. It got to the point to where I'd beat it, and restart the game over again.
I believe my fastest I ever beat the game, with powerlvling to 99 and mastering everything was about 40 hours. I'll have to reload my file and double check.
 
Only actually ever completed it once but started and stopped so many games. I can't get enough it it. The only time I get bored when starting a new game is when Cloud starts blah blah blahing in the hotel in Kalm cos it takes sooooooo long to get through, even if you skips bits.
 
5 times in all I have complete the game, however I have probably gone through Midgar (first-time) probably 50 times now :ohshit:
 
I have completed it at least once a year in the last half six years. Most years see me playing it twice.
 
I beat the game once. I would play through it again but i don't have the energy to do it. After I get my Ps2 fixed Ill consider playing through it again. I guess after you get all the materia and Ultimate Weapons for the Characters you want then don't want to play it over again.
 
I tried to start it again on my PS3 but the sound was so jacked up I couldn't take it :cry:
