How much did you pay for VII?

my old man forked out 20 quid on it for me wen it first came out. And i bought it again a few years back for a tenner. My original broke so i had to get a replacement
 
I found it for like $75, but didn't get it...I'm in university and don't make much money.

I guess that's what I get for not getting into the FF series until summer 2008...
 
I forgot how much I payed for my FF7 game when I got back in 1997. I think it was about $50 including a guide book that I got for $13 but I had to buy another copy of the game at one point because I accidently broke my 3rd disc in half and couldn't exchange it for a new one. When I bought a new copy of the game, I got it for $20 because it was a Greatest Hits game by then.
 
I paid the average price upon release for the PS version. Got a cheap PC version later for around £8.
 
Nothing - I inherited it off of my brother :D, who also paid nothing as he got it for Christmas - though he got it when it came out in in the UK in 97' - so it was full price, which was £44.99 back then - quite pricey - but definitely worth it!
 
I got it for 19.99 way back when! Though my copy is really beat up, so I asked for a new one for Xmas. =)
 
Who would have thought that a mere 20 dollar game (the price I paid) made me want and did spend 345 additional dollars over the years to feed my extreme fandom?

(note: newer game consoles are not included)
 
When FFVII first came out (back in 1997) I paid a whopping £40 quid for it. I part-exchanged it years later for Tekken 3, and bought it a few years ago again for £7, which is virtually a steal.
 
The greatest hits is a joke, you can't find it for $20 anymore, and all the greatest hits are supposed to be $20.
 
i think i got it for like 40 bucks when it first came out...i can't quite remember though, that wasl ike 10 years ago!
 
Man, I had about 3 FFVIIs 2 first one was like 40 dollars and the other two were like 20 right before it became rare and the price sky rocketed
 
I actually just bought it on ebay for $39 even. One thing is for sure though, if I break/damage this copy, I'm never buying another one, especially not off of ebay. Bidding on an item so sought after is a real hassle, too much of a hassle for me to go through again -__-
 
think i paid £30 when it first came out (at least someone did, it was a gift) then i bought my own for £19.99 when that one got lost think $80 is a lot for a second hand game, but i suppose they are getting rarer.
 
I got an original copy from my uncle for free, never even opened!
I also bought all three disks seperate on e-bay for like 3$ each, and I still have my original from 1990 something.
Screw greatest hits.
 
I got it this year, at something like $70 second hand off Ebay. It was pretty expensive considering the game is like ten years old now. But at the time I was pretty lucky as most of the other copies were going at about $120 at the time. The fucking case was cracked though -__-

I bought my on ebay about 3 years ago, for around 40 dollars, theres some used ones one ebay that cost 20-50 dollars anymore... and then new ones that are around 100-400 dollars, that's a lot! new or not! lol
