How old were you when you played your first Final Fantasy?

Goddamn I must be the old dinosaur here..

My first FF game was 3 (6). I was about 8 I guess. I think I played it around 93?
 
I have a picture of me playing FF2 (FF4 SNES version) when I was 3 or 4 years old. My parents let me rent it from a local game store. I can remember dying a lot and not progressing very far, but someone had left a save at the end of the game that I could load up and play. I was determined to make it that far, so I continued to rent it when I could and keep trying.
 
I was around five or six when I first played a final fantasy game. Maybe seven. It was final fantasy 7. I didn't fully grasp it but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.
 
Hm...the first one that caught my attention was FFIX when I was 8 or 9.But I didn't get to play it until much later.My sister had borrowed it from my cousin and she wouldn't let me play it.
As for officially playing one,it was FFX-2 when I was 11 I believe,but still not very much into JRPGS.Until I played FFVII when I was 12,that's when I became an FF fan and started to enjoy RPGs.
 
I was seven at the time, my first final fantasy was final fantasy 7. I wasn't able to play my cousin's file so they had me start at the beginning. I lost the fight against the scorpion, they didn't let me continue after that.
 
I was about 10 when I first played FF7, and since then have played each to completion..
Going back to the earlier ones when they were released on PSX.. And 3 on DS...
Best game series ever..
 
Not sure which game I first played or how old I was but I remember that it was on the PS1. I failed miserably and didn't understand anything that was going on. ^^;

I gave FF another shot at age 10/11 when X came out - but I still sucked. Had fun with it but I didn't really understand the political/religious side of the story or how to use the sphere grid. So I'd say age 10/11 is more accurate for when I got into FF despite not being the age I first played an FF game. :)
 
I was 13 years old when I played my first FF game, which would be FFIX. I got 8,9 and 10 as early Christmas presents. But I didn't even touch them until January. I fell in love with FFIX as soon as I started playing. The first big thing of note that happened to me was Vivi getting mugged for gil. After that, we were off and running.
 
I think I was twelve. Actually no, I was eleven because I know I bought X after seeing a trailer on tv for X-2 (which came out when I was eleven) and so my love of FF was born :)
 
The first FF ever played was FFVII for PS1. I was about 14.
From then onwards have played them all (except online)
 
I was 8 years old when I got my first FF game: Final Fantasy Tactics. Everyone was craving about it and VII during that time. What's crazy is I have no memory card back then and we tried to finish the game without it. LOL:trollita:
 
Think I was about 7... when my older brother brought home FF7. Played most of them since, not AS keen on the newer ones, though the 13 series isn't too bad.
