Hyperion or Revolver?

While I actually prefer revolvers to pistols, there's something about the Hyperion i've always liked more. I think it's the way Seifer wields it. It just looks a lot cooler than Squall which basically lioks like he's holding a normal sword.

I like the revolver more, but I agree Seifer wields his cooler. Too bad he had some of the weakest boss fights ever. They should have made him hard because he is supposed to be your combat equal.

The overall look of the revolver is FAR superior in my eyes.

the revolver also looks like it would be more capable and more powerful.

Well I havent really played much of FF8 but I have to admit I prefer the revolver to pistol, but the way Siefer wields and just the way he generally is with it in my eyes makes him and hyperion the better of the two.
 
I prefer the hyperion i like guns with fast triggers in a battle situation they would work better then a revolver, i also agree that Seifer as a better pose and wields his weapon in a cooler fashion then Squall.

I guess it's the way he wields it that make his gublade look better.

So i vote hyperion.
 
I like the Hyperion more, but there were some bad points to it.

Like the revolver was easier to get criticals with, like with the Hyperion it was kinda hard when you first start using it.

And the look of the Hyperion is just amazing compare to the Revolver, the revolver just looks so undeveloped when you have seifer next to him too. :wacky:
 
I tried to get a good full shot of the Hyperion from the opening FMV. This is the best I could do.

How exactly is it less developed? the hyperion is much plainer with less detail.

The part that juts out near the end of the blade would also stifle it's effectiveness.
 
i've come tO beleve the twO are of comporable skill level with nO clear winner.
but yeah, speaking of the opening FMV, the way Seifer holds his weapon does look so much coOler than how Squall does it..
 
:hmmm: I voted Revolver because I like how it looks better, as it has a nice engraving and the Greiver chain, as well as the actual gun looks like it attached more sturdily, although, I DO like the wield style of Seifer's Hyperion... I think at the end of the day though, no matter which it is, A gunblade is still the most kickass weapon in Final Fantasy.
 
I like the engraving on Squall's but I like the gun part of the Hyperion better. I also agree with what most have said about the way they wield them. I like the Seifer wields his much better. Plus the name Hyperion is awesome.
 
I prefer the design of Revolver, but I like the concept of Hyperion being a shotgun usable with one hand - if you're strong enough like Seifer to hold a big gunblade anyways (and no, the ones in Advent Children were WAY smaller; they're, like, gundaggers I'd say xD).
 
I voted for Hyperion because I think it is fairly lighter and easier to wield than the Revolver, allowing Seifer to be more agiled and swift in his attacks than Squall. The Revolver does packs a punch, mostly because of its heavy weight, but that would make it harder to swing around. Besides, it can be wielded with one hand whilst the Revolver requires both hands (no and I am not considering Dissidia a canon so Squall wielding the Revolver with one hand is irrelevant).
 
The Hyperion. It looks way better and seems cooler than the Revolver. Its seems to be wielded in a more cool fashion than the revolver, too.
 
Voted for Hyperion. I remember the first thing that came to mind when i saw Seifer wielding it "Man! that thing is much cooler than mine!" :P
