i heard that sora, riku, and the rest of the gang wont be in three!
something about its set like years after them.:holyshit:
if thats true i might not play it because what i love the most about KH is the characters and villains.
if they changed it all - it would be really depressing.:notfunny:
 
We don't anything about KHIII as of yet, however, the new games they won't be.

I'm glad they won't be though, I think it's time for a change of main characters for a bit. Although, I think they'll make their return in KHIII because that's part of the main storyline in which KHII didn't really tie up the story of Sora, Riku and Kairi. So I think they'll be back :-)
 
Well, rumours are rumours. Some guy told me you can fight KH2 Sephiroth in the underworld after you beat him at Hollow Bastion -__-

And I don't think there's anything really wrong with change. The prequel game BbS and the in-between game 358/2 Days don't really have anything to do with the KH1/KH2 cast (well, Riku for 358/2 Days probably, not really Sora and Kairi beyond context at least) but are still important to the over-all story, so you're gonna miss out on loads then -_-

And anyways, in terms of Sora, Riku and Kairi, I think the KH2 game DOES end rather conclusively on their story since
they're home back on the islands. Although they do receive a letter in a bottle from King Mickey, so that probably hints at another adventure involving them, which if it does occur, will be the actual game called "Kingdom Hearts III"

That are only plots of KHfans, they are not confirmed ... We don't even know if there will be KH 3 (of course it will, but not confirmed by SE) xd
 
Yeah i watched the supposed trailer for KH3 and idk who the main characters where, but one of them looked like Vaan from FF12
 
This was a while back around the time FFXII was about to be released and KHII was out for a few months, but I heard KHIII was following a whole new path, different from KHI and KHII.

I heard the story was going to be different as well as the characters, but maybe a few flashbacks would be shown to portray similarities between previous installments and KHIII.
 
Tetsuya said that it wouldn't be called "Kingdom hearts III" just "Kingdom Hearts" because it would be set before the original storyline, so that means we get to see what happens way before sora and the gang. I'm not sure if he said anything about sora, riku and kairi being in the new game.
 
Ive always thought that the CGI moment after the credits wher sora riku and kairi get a letter from mickey for probably another adventure.
 
I personally don't think that they would make Kingdom Hearts III without the original gang. At the end of KH II when Kairi,Sora, and Riku get the letter, I figure it's instructing them on a new adventure.

As for Birth By Sleep and 358/2 Days, Im interested to see them and play them. It will be interesting to learn about other things and tie up a few things. Im sure those two games will hold alot of answers in them,even if there aren't that many questions.

Personally,I wouldn't like the main "Kingdom Hearts III" game to be without the original gang. It just doesn't seem right for them not to be in the game as part of the main cast.
 
well aparentley there are 3 new people tera,aqua and ven from sources tera is axel nobodie i find it really freaky also i the kingdom of hearts 3 sneak piek trailer the 3 people are terra the one who pulls his mask of at the end , aqua the one with blue hair and her masks get blown off then the last roxas and he dies !!!! it isnt ven , ven comes later on in the game but roxas dies from old guy on cliff i dont no who tht is yet

That sort of things really can't be avoided because since those three are still human they will eventually at some point die I mean its not like they'll be there until the end of time.So they will need to make a game with them not in it.
 
When is Kingdom Hearts III going to come out. I am waiting for this game but there seems to be only some information on KHIII. Does anyone Know the Final Fantasy characters that will be in this game? This is probably the only Kingdom Hearts game I am Looking forward Too tbqh. The others were just ok.
 
I can't, for the life of me, find the source now before I definitely read somewhere today that they've hardly even discussed it, it may have been Hasegawa, but someone definitely said that they expect Nomura to carry on and do a KHIII, which to me sounds like there has been very little discussion on it so far D:
 
can i ask a quick question is kh 3 for psp because there was a rumor
 
Little has been discussed about anything related to KHIII as far as I'm aware, so I think the rumour you've heard is just that, a rumour. I'd say I'm 99% sure that it'll be for the PS3 as it's part of the main series, therefore, earns the right to a major console. It could be for the 360 but I very much doubt that as I think Nomura prefers working with Nintendo/Sony consoles and handhelds, and it could be for the Wii, however, I don't see how Kingdom Hearts and the Wii would go together in the main series D:
 
I'm going to get it, no matter what. If it is for a system I do not have, I'll get the system if only for K3. Yes. I want it that much.
 
well from what i have found out about KH3 Tetsuya said tht he will announce what will be the storylone of K3 and he also said "well once im done with terra, aqua, ven, roxas, and the organization, it will be sora's turn to turn up in the spotlight again" so yeah i do think tht sora and the gang will be the main characters in KH3!!!!!!!!!
 
These rumors I guess they were from when people saw the KH2 secret ending, but the truth is that the only game that won't feature the KH main characters outline is Birth By Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 3 will combine the 2 stories together, and by this I mean, Aqua's, Ven's and Terra's with Sora's, Riku's and Kairi's.
