They would need to be completely remade (and according to SE, that could take up to 50 years. Who knew?!). You can try and remaster something like FFVII as much as you want, but it wouldn't work as it is. If all PS2 FF titles are remastered, then at least the people who don't currently own a PS2 can try them out, seeing as current PS3s don't support backwards compatibility. :hmmm:

Suddenly, I really want a Dragon Quest VIII remastering...
 
I would definitely play it again. I agree everything from the international version must be included. Personally I would also like it if they could make it a bit more challenging.
 
I think additional missions and some expansion. Maybe new weapons, a new character. Idk it wouldn't hurt the game.
