Ike Creations

Kira is pretty much a Goddess of Text so I would take her advice. :wacky:

The Link tag looks pretty good IMO. I think just to finish it off you need to make the whole tag... pop. Make the colours look more vibrant.
What I usually do is make a new layer and apply the image and set it to soft light and lower the opacity a bit. Or add some more layers and fill them with colour and set them on overlay (lowered opacity). Just so the tag has a bit more 'oomf'. :wacky:

KIU!

tbh, I am not a great teacher. I am still a beginner myself :P There are many others here that could help you.

And thanks for the comments gaiz :awesome:

I have many fonts, just don't know where to put them on the sig and when I place them, they look bad or don't flow with the sig :sad3:

Keep text close to your focal. usually the focal is gunna be the character you have in your sig. Dont make it too big or itl overshadow the stock/render. If using several lines of text keep them close together and try matching bold fonts with curly ones, they go well with eachother. Alternatively get on google and search for text placement tuorials. I know for a fact there are some on sigresource.com and gfxresource.com. You may find them usefull so check them out.

Two new siggies x3 I tried using more than one font in each one, but they came out looking similar. Must have done something wrong

So far I'm liking the Ike sigs. I don't know what draws me to Fire Emblem, because I haven't even played it. :/

9.5/9.5, if we're rating here. :)

I like this one.

Nice colours used and good blending. I like that purple streak across the bottom and how it's lit up.

The text is placed decently but I don't think that the choice of font worked that well.

I would suggest a simple one pixel border to finish it up a bit too.

Other than that good job.

That exactly.

Keep your text close to your render/focal point.

Keeping the text close together will prevent you having the messy ness that comes out of it if you don't.

You're definitely improving. I think if you moved the lines just a tad bit closer together it'd look alot better already.

...Anyway, I doubt this is all just about text advice. :wacky: Sorry.

Your sigs are improving nicely. You have a nice use of colours, and from what I've seen know what colours to work on so that the sig doesn't look like it clahses.

Keep it up!

Thanks for the very helpful comments, gaiz :awesome: You have all helped me get as good as I am. I have really improved, haven't I? :yay: Here are two more things that I made. Not so sure about one of them, tbh

I REALLY like that. The colours are gorgeous, and even though the focal point could've used a bit more attention, lightning etc, it's a really gorgeous signature. :hmmm:

I recommend the font styles JaneAusten, and LainieDaySH, while using one line with the current one you seem to use alot. :wacky:

Really pretty signature. The colours are absolutely gorgeous.

The border is really nice too.

This one is looking really good!

The colours are pretty and go really well with the image.

I like how you've lit the signature up in certain places around the edges. IT looks really pretty.

Great blending work too!

The text is positioned well, I just think that a more basic looking font would make it look better.

The border rounds it off nicely too.

Valkyries rule! Good, good, good work!

I can't tell if those white lights are....lights, or feathers. I'm puzzled. The colors andt he text are pretty neat, too. :)

New siggy :awesome: I had another one, and it was great, too, but Photoshop quit on me :grumpy:

It's a set. Comments please :griin: I played with clipping masks and the text. I think it came out okay ;)

^^

I like them alot! Then again all you work is a form of awesomeness! :awesome:
I love the background of your latest one especially, keep it up! :)

I like the colors and the background details. The colors blends with the picture very well. It's a very nice set Ike.

I like the outcome a lot. It has nice effects and the colour scheme is a good one. I particularly like how you used the a large version of the render and placed it in the background.

One piece of advice though... follow the advice given to you about text. No offense intended but... your text isn't improving at the same rate as the other aspects of your tags. The link I gave you earlier has 2 great text tutorials so try and follow them. It will complete your sigs and will the final step in you making a good tag. (IMO)

Nice work. (y)

I tried to follow the text advice on placement that site had, Ewan. I also used the font that Kira suggested. I hope it came across well on this signature. I really tried with the font, for a good 10 minutes :thehell:

Wow, I really like this! It has orange in it, which is one of my favorite colours!
But seriously, it's really good! I like the fiery effect in the sig. It goes well with the render. Only thing is that it's a little hard to see "Sins" because it almost blends in with render. I think a darker colour should have been used just so the text won't blend in with the render or background. Besides that, I say it's super awesome!:P

Wow, you have improved so much since the last time I was here. Props for you, man. ♥

Moving on now...
This is a good piece. The color scheme is well matched with the image, the background is well done and from what I can see, you got the lighting to come in right from the corner of the image. (lighter side should be to the right is what I mean) The stock placement is fine with me, but the one thing that does might stand as a problem is the text, but that's fine; text is always a bother I'd say. It doesn't stand out too much from the main image, it blends in a little too much and makes it a little hard to read, that'd be just about it.
