im buying a ps3 just for this

so ive started playing... now while i do like the game i must say im feeling quite constricted... its like i cant do anythingother then what the game wants me to do, havnt seen a city yet, right now im on the lake... anyhow hope the game opens up a bit
 
Well then how come you didn't try out the game before you bought it? I mean some people do to see what it would be like. You say that you bought the PS3 just for XIII well, there are other great games on the ps3. But, I hope your enjoying XIII =] the PS3 (IMO) is a great system.
 
lol or at least watch video reviews because they all complain about the tight linearity. The game starts to open up around...Chapter 10??? It's just a big grassy plain with a bunch of enemies, but it's the closest you'll get to free roam. No real towns or anything. Just play it for the story and new battle-system imo.
