I'm getting pretty pissed.

I think the price is pretty fair if it was brand new. But, I see FF7 on shelves in places like GameStop. It has the greatest hits thing on it, though. But, It's still the same thing.
 
Lately i've been wanting to go out and buy VII again, mainly for nostalgia's sake, but also cuz i just downloaded the VII soundtrack and it's making me wanna play the game again.

There's a store here in town that still sells it new for $20. I suppose the copies that go for exorbitant amounts on ebay are the orginal copies and not the greatest hits?

It's either one most of the time. I've seen people selling greatest hits copies of games for extremely high prices as well.

I actually saw someone on Amazon selling a black label copy of Xenogears for like $2,300. :rolleyes: I laughed my ass off and then bought a black label copy from another seller for like $30. It was mint condition too.

If I don't like a price, usually I'll wait a bit and check back later. Most times, I'll find another seller with reasonable prices. I guess it depends on your level of patience though.
 
Damn thing was more than $20...they increased the price T_T Oh well, i still bought it. Been playing the thing for 9 hours straight, i'm finally taking a break from it xD

WTFH...Xenogears for 2 grand? O__O I dont care how good or rare a game is, no game is worth that much. In my opinion, no game is even worth paying $100 for.
 
According to ebay FFVII now goes from $0.01 - $165.00. I got mine for free. All I did was trade off a crappy skateboard for it.

i got mine for £10.40 (donno what that is in dollers) from amazon and that was with the shipping..pretty good deal considering it was brand new factory sealed..:rolleyes:

I bought mine from amazon, it was something like £10 used ($20 I think) the case was cracked but it works fine.
 
I have been looking for a copy to buy as well but it is too expensive! I think I will keep looking on eBay to see if they have any good deals. I have only seen $70 and upwards on there, but I suppose it is considered a classic and a collectors item now so I don't know if you can really find it cheaper. I got into the series too late so I missed out on buying it. :P Hopefully I can get a copy sometime soon lol.
 
They should definately re-make it for PS2 or PS3. I don't nescesarily mean with better graphics, just bringing it out again. Square Enix probably wouldn't actually do it because the new generation wouldn't want to buy a game with graphics like that and they wouldn't sell many copies. It would be good for people who have liked the game since the begining and don't have it anymore(like me:)).
 
Bought mine on ebay for 50 $$ Australian so thats prolly like 42 $ american or something along those lines, graphics are aweful compared to ff8 but its highly understandable since it came out 10 years ago :D
 
i have never seen them taht expensive on ebay!! mind you saying that, i only look at the ones playable on english systems, i got an original black copy (used) for about a tenner - my version just wouldnt play no more
 
omg, 70 dollars!! around 2 years ago or perhaps more i went into town to rebuy FFVII and it only cost me £30 which was supprising because that was the price when it hit the shelves several years before, im not sure what that is in $ but im sure somone will figure it out.
 
Yeah ......... I definately bought FF7 for 50 + bucks on Ebay .............. and never got it,...................... so luckily I found it in a 'Mom and Pop' store:D
