Okay, so, I didn't find it anywhere in the FAQ's so I'll ask a really quick question:

In User CP, where all infractions are listed, there's a column "Post" that lists where the offense occurred.

My question: What does "Private" mean? I've gathered that a "Profile" is something that happened outside of a thread (Like shoutbox or PM's or something, I think) but I have utterly no idea what "private" is for.

I'm only asking because I'm curious! XD I've always wondered what the "private" stood for and finally got around to making a thread!

Thanks for answering ahead of time~ ^_^

My answer is only going off of experience, but I think private means that you were infracted on a deleted post? :hmmm: I never did know what it meant, even the entire time I was a mod on a vB forum, nor could I actually check if that's what showed up for the poor souls I ended up infracting :wacky:

I'm sure it's:

1) A post that has been soft-deleted (the record still exists, it's retrievable and viewbale to Moderators, but not to regular members)

2) A post in a private forum, e.g. prison, clans etc to which you do not have access.

Just to confirm what was already said, 'Private' is a post (which a member was infracted for) that has been soft-deleted. =]
