Inspiration

My inspiration usually happens when im crawling across the net and I see a picture I like.. then I use it for a stock.
Other than that it usually comes from music or other peoples work.

Seeing other people succeed in GFX makes me happy.

Nowadays things just come to me. Like spur-of-the-moment things where I'll have this vision of a really great signature/tag/image I want to do.

My main inspiration is work from other people. I download lots of psd packs and look through the layers and see the different effects, adjustments and stock used etc. and that gives me ideas. Or, I might just try and copy another person's tag, without ripping anything of course. My current tag is exactly that.

Visual media also influenced my tags back when I tried to put a message in them. Just the things you see in movies and on the TV influences me when I try to put a spin on a theme etc.

My inspiration to start GFXing was from seeing the quite awesome and very well done works of the members of this very site. Members like Lewis, Mistuki, and Ryan made me want to learn exactly what they were doing and encouraged me to start making my own pieces. Also, Prometheus (Kalub) got me into starting, as we both started around the same time.

What keeps me going is the hope that I can keep getting better and better, which is a very exciting prospect to me. I am always trying to learn more techniques, which is quite fun!

nowadyas i only get inspiration from the resources i find or create. Music helps me when im working but when i get an image i love i can already see everything im gunna do with it/ do to it. That sounded a bit pereverted :wacky:
